*****5 Start Review From Joanne D
I purchased this for my niece after I noticed her latest attempt at a lemonade stand with her friend. Needless to say, their little summer business could have used some "entrepreneurial know how."
Firstly, the story line is great and she immediately connected to the characters, giggling when she realized the characters and her and her friend spent their summer doing much of the same thing. She also didn't hesitate to complete the activities and was very proud to share her version of the "bracelet re-design." And lastly, when I asked her where she was in the book and she replied "survey" I asked her what she would have learned if she had done a survey for her business. She replied, "neighbors like lemonade. But, what the girls in the book should have done was make a boy's version of the bracelets!"
So, even though she didn't prepare a survey, the suggestion certainly inspired an "entrepreneurial approach." And, ultimately, that's what I was looking for as a goal when making this purchase.
