It’s Veteran’s Day and no doubt you’re gearing up at your school for special speakers and thank you letters. This is a great time to talk to your students about their freedoms and what the military does. Use these resources to inform and check for understanding.

My kids loved having their Pappy join them at school, to honor veterans. Now that we are homeschooling, this activity will allow my girls to still honor their Pappy on Veterans Day.

As a Canadian in the USA, I appreciate any help I can get with honouring the military and veterans, especially since my husband and FIL are veterans. My son will really appreciate these (free!) worksheets. :)

My husband is in the military and they made a little report for him to share how they feel about him being in the Army. We all enjoyed working on this. They even did one of these assignments in school before I started homeschooling.
