Product Description

Finding a book with strong, likable characters can be an essential component of connecting learners with literature. This Tuck Everlasting book study allows you break down reading strategies for comprehension in a easy-to-use, no prep format that is perfect for literature circles, whole class reading, or even as enrichment activities for independent learning.

This no fluff novel study format engages learners, but it doesn't overwhelm your readers with countless chapter questions that just require them to copy or regurgitate the text. Instead, each day's lesson targets one key comprehension skill essential for reading success. The entire day's lesson can be focused on building that skill, which has been carefully aligned to state and Common Core Standards.

When it comes time to respond, learners are asked to use critical thinking skills and combine their own thoughts and opinions with the text to go beyond just the basic understanding of the plot.

About the Seller

The Third Wheel Teacher
(4 Reviews)

Hi!

My name is Rebecca, and I am the busy teacher-momma behind The Third Wheel. With a four year old and two year old at home, my hands are full trying to maintain a balance between all those things I have to get done for work and all the things I want and need to do to keep things running smoothly at home.

Education is my passion, and I love being a student and a teacher. After getting my third masters degree, I am taking a little break from my own formal education. However, I still try to learn something new each day, just like I ask my students to do.

One of the biggest things I always try to think about how I can make the learning stick through engaging activities that don't require a ton of prep work or supplies. My passion is to help teachers and home school families make preparing fun, engaging learning opportunities easier so they can spend more time focused on the rest of what life has to offer.
