    Times Tales - Awesome

Our rising 4th grader changed schools from one Christian Academy to another when we moved to a new city. She has been struggling and basically forgot her multiplication tables (didn't really have them mastered fully). She remembers the stories and has learned the multiplication tables. Although, she spends time on the story this is a new practice for her and I see her moving away from the story and remembering the tables. It is also a good memory building and comprehension practice. In the software on part two there is an error where it is missing the 56 but she caught it and remembers the solution, so maybe it isn't a glitch. I give it a 5 because it is worth the investment, but a couple of the stories required some explanation...maybe that assists in the memorization.

My daughter is learning her multiplication facts quickly... but only some of the printables are printing. Trying to connect with someone in customer care. I was really wanting to start them tomorrow.

Trigger Memory Co. is owned and operated by Jennie von Eggers & Marillee Flanagan, sisters. They have been in business since 2003. They are two homeschool moms that were looking for an opportunity to help kids and have a small business. Jennie von Eggers created the stories for Times Tales in 2003 as a quick way for her two grade school boys to learn their upper times tables. She got tired of the same old boring flashcards. Jennie is always looking for unconventional ways to teach her kids. They have since published Zone Clean 'n' Flip products as well at the Memory Trigger. Most of their children are now in college but both the homeschooling adventure as well as their small business has been a blessing to both owners.
