Product Description

A fun end-of-the-year activity!

I love to use Margaret Wise Brown’s The Important Book as a springboard for students to demonstrate their knowledge of important information during a unit of study and as a template for class book ideas. Here is a great End-of-the-Year class book idea! For this one, start by having students brainstorm what they want their classmates to remember most about themselves. Have them complete the frame provided and then illustrate their page. Completed pages can then be displayed on a bulletin board or bound together to create a class book. I have included a matching cover (in both color and black and white) for the class book or display.

The file is editable so that you can add your name, grade level, and the date to personalize your book cover.

I like to print copies of the book for each student as an end-of-the-year keepsake.
