About the Seller
Encourage Play was founded in December 2013 by Janine Halloran, LMHC. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has been working with children, adolescents and their families for over 15 years. While working with her students and watching her own children grow and develop, she realized the best way to learn anything is through play. She creates easy to use games and activities for kids to provide teachable moments where learning social skills can naturally occur.
Janine also recently founded a sister site to Encourage Play - Coping Skills for Kids. At this site, she provides products for parents to help their kids cope with stressful situations in healthy ways. When Janine isn’t working, you can find her in her garden or doing an arts and crafts project. She has a weakness for Nutella and Netflix.
