& Soli Deo Gloria,
I am not a mother by nature as i have no kids of my own, but my kids at my school own me body, spirit and soul. They are such little oaks of righteousness and soak up every encouragement, instruction and question with such passion and zeal. They deserve your votes--not me, but them because i believe in them, who they are and who they can be--help me build that bridge
It is exciting to see students who were reluctant even thinking about the dissections in Biology now wanting to have a career in a related field because they were given the opportunity to study in such a hands-on way.
I'd like to have resources for students to enhance their study and delve deeper into fields they enjoy. Because we have a library for our co-op, we store and reuse the materials.
Please vote for my classroom! I am a Kindergarten teachers in rural Oklahoma and these supplies will definitely enhance my teaching and impact student learning. Learning should be engaging, fun, and appropriate at all levels. Help us stock our classroom with fun, engaging materials!
The teachers and staff at my daughter's school (Elm St, Walpole) do a wonderful job with the children. Many of them buy materials and items for their classrooms. Please help me in providing a variety of wonderful educational, musical and STEM related items! Thank you!
After 13 years in the same building teaching early childhood special needs children , I am having to move to another building. All the supplies I have acquired throughout the years must stay in the building, hence starting over. These items will assist in making a fresh start and enhance my new early childhood special education preschool program.
What a wonderful gift this would be for any teacher!!
I know what an absolute blessing this would be to me as a homeschool mom of four! Even though my dining room is my classroom, I know I could have my curriculum inventory furnished nicely :) Thank you!!
I am a homeschooling mama to 7 awesome kids. Four of my children had a difficult start in life before they were mine, and as a result have multiple, severe learning disabilities. Our school district was unable to provide my kids with the help they needed, so I chose to teach them all at home. We are very short on resources! Help us win our dream classroom!
Your Vote Matters - Support A Home Schooling Mama on an adventure with my two healthy little ones. Learning as we go and loving life. I believe in raising good humans and that life should be lived to the fullest. I'm excited to take my kids education to the next level this year and am in LOVE with the amazing amount of tools and resources available for all types of learning styles.
Help me make a dream STEAM lab! The students at our school love coming to the STEAM lab to do hands on challenges and solve problems. Please help me make the lab even better! My students are high poverty but they have amazing ideas! I would love to have more resources to continue to inspire our next generation of STEM Career Future!
Our district has moved towards and inquiry purposeful play based philosophy this year. To be successful I need to redo almost everything in my classroom. I am wanting to create inquiry tubs which require lots of money as well as other big ticket items. Please vote for me and help my students!!
I love teaching special education and finding resources is hard enough to find activities that they enjoy and are learning. I have found a lot of great resources for me to use in my classroom and I know my students will learn! Please help vote for me to get these great supplies for my class!
I love being a homeschool Mom, 14 years of it now :) I have some pretty fun items in my EduCents wishlist: the whisper phone & toobaloos for reading practice during quiet times, all the Magformers sets they have (my kids fell in love with these a few years ago at a local childrens museum and would love to have all these sets!), the anti-coloring book, guitars, and more!
Hello, how can you put a persuasive story in 400 characters? Much like everyone else, education is so important to our family. Homeschool chose us, we used public for a short amount of time, it did not work for us.the school nurse failed to follow instruction given to her by a medical specialish which lead us to home school our family of 4.
This is our chance to build the Homeschool classroom that we've always wanted and dreamed of that would leave our studies Limitless!
This opportunity would carry all 5 children most of the way through an above average High School education so that our financial resources could be focused on supplemental extracurricular activities!
There would be no limiting their personal curiosity fulfillment!
I am a parent of a 1st grader and 4th grader. Their teachers could use anything from new desks, computers, product for the kids. Their school is a small public school, with many of lower income families. The teachers end up spending a lot of their own income on their students. These teachers have a ton of heart and soul! They would be Thrilled to have some extra money to spend on their students!
I don't think there has been a better day to date than when I accepted my first position as a First Grade Teacher at Binks Forest Elementary. Voting for me is voting for my students. The students who strive each daily to reach their highest potential, the students that know that a good mix of a good education, kindness, and a sense of humor can take you very far.
Children have a thirst for knowledge and they deserve to have an engaging classroom that supports their social emotional needs. If this environment can be created I believe students can learn more than we ever thought. My wish list is full of hands-on activities that support S.T.E.M. Please help my classroom of first graders win these fabulous resources!
My awesome student's all have Autism. My goal is to build community around Autism while showcasing my students skills and abilities. Our school uses STEM lessons and activities to build social skills and Autism Awareness. Our class invites other classrooms to our room to share in learning about science, technology, engineering and math.
By no fault of our own, we live in a very rough, urban area known as Brightmoor. However, we are just a hard working group of young Detroiters! We have character building to focus on improving our emotions then, English, history, science, math and fitness. We are reading about Miracle's Boys right now because many of us can relate to the story. We'd appreciate ANY donations!
I believe there is a super-hero inside of everyone waiting to come out. I teach my students to understand that super-heroes are ordinary people chosen to do extraordinary things. Please help me to equip my classroom with the tools necessary to help me better prepare my young super-heroes to take on the world!
Hi!! My name is Sherleen and I work at a Title 1 school. My classroom is low ratio ESE Pre-K. Is my first year teaching in the USA so I'm in need of materials for my classroom. ESE need to be challenged and experience new things everyday, and that can be costly to a teacher!! Please help me, help my students achieve their goals with your vote!!! Thank you so much!!❤️
I am a 4th grade teacher in a large school district. Our kids spend most of their waking moments together in our small confined space, and a dream classroom would mean enhancing our education. I would love the opportunity to create more room that promotes promotes creativity and collaboration, growth and development, and entices students to be at school everyday, excited, and ready to learn!
I teach Enrichment to 3-5 yr old children at a small catholic school. Enrichment is part of our preschool program for children who are enrolled all day. I teach a lot of science, we dissected a cow eye today! The students love learning about cultures so we have, "World Wednesday" when we visit a new country in our pretend airplane. These supplies will help to elevate their learning experience.
Hi! I am a mother of 4 great children and we are a home school family. My children are very curious and love absorbing new information. We would really like to provide our learning area with educational interactive activities and resources as we continue our educational journey.
Every since I was a small girl, I played school and acted like the teacher. I would cry when I had to miss school because my passion to be there was so strong. I love seeing the faces of children when they accomplish something they have been struggling with. When you place a vote for me, you are also voting for these children to be successful in their elementary school years, which is vital!
I am not a certified teacher, but a teacher nonetheless. I have homeschooled my children since they have came into this world. My motto is "it's never too early to learn." Winning this would make my children and I so happy. (especially them!!!) VOTE FOR US!

I am switching positions with in my building next year and we are very limited on technology. I would like to have classroom computers and other devices available to my students as learning aides. For struggling writers I would like to be able to use a speech to text app and that takes the technology to do so.
Thank you for your consideration in voting for my class! My school is in a low economic are and we do not qualify for Title 1 funds. We also do not have a wealthy population to donate funds to our school. Winning our dream classroom would be a beginning for my students to be on equal footing as their peers in our town/district. Thanks again for your consideration.
I am currently in my second year of teaching. I teach 8th grade Humanities in Rockaway, NY. I LOVE what I do and could not imagine myself doing anything else. My kids are my heart and soul. More and more children are coming to school with sensory and learning needs and I would love to update my special education tool kit. Education and students are always changing and for me to keep up and better serve my students I need fresh educational tools, activities, and ideas. This wish list would help me so much to continue helping my students make huge progress during the school year.
Jack is a bright and very active (almost) 5 year old. He is having some issues with ADD and sensory processing and so we have decided to homeschool him for Kinder. We did preschool at home and he has done an amazing job. We are a family of 5 and the cost of homeschool is a burden. I really hope this contest allows me to give him some of the tools that we need for his continued growth. God bless!
I have taught for 28 years and plan on 10 more! Nothing is more rewarding than watching a child learn something new or them being comfortable enough to start calling you "Mommy" without even realizing it. My school is a low income school. My kindergarten students have often never attended preK or daycare. Readiness skills often need to be learned before the K curriculum can even be started.
I am an ESOL teacher in the Rochester City School District. My students travel to us from difficult places, many of them are refugee students. They come from diverse backgrounds, and traumatic situations but they never seem to let this get in their way. They are the most resilient, humble, kind, appreciative and loving students any teacher could ever have. I am humbled by them everyday!
I teach Spanish classes with little to no Spanish books. Languages are not considered an academic class however many college still need students to take 1-2 years of a language in high school. I am looking for small readers at least 1 class set.
My students deserve a classroom where they can learn Spanish and have fun doing so. I want my classroom to be a place where students are fired up about learning and who knows, maybe it will be the place where a student discovers his or her own life passion.
We are new to homeschooling, we have four children. At this point I am creating a curriculum of my own for my children; that span three different grade levels, with free tools I find online. $10,000 would allow us to be able to purchase manipulatives credible second language, and music curriculum, also books and supplies for our program. This would make a huge difference in our children's lives.
I am a School Speech Therapist who works with many special needs students. Sensory and organization is key with many of them. I strive to give my students the best that I can to build up and encourage them to go beyond any expectation. Over the year, items get very used and new items are always in need to continue our learning and growing.
We have very motivated learners at Medina High School who are eager to learn Mandarin Chinese. I have been constantly searching for new and innovative technologies that would enhance students’ learning. Please help us build our dream classroom that will provide more learning opportunities for our students!
I am thrilled to join the dual immersion staff at Jamestown Elementary School. This is a new program that is the first of it's kind in Tuolumne County. First and second grade students from different backgrounds will be learning in both English and Spanish. I need to set up a new classroom from scratch and you can help me by voting for me and my soon-to-be classroom.
Hello my name Ms. Davis I work with age group I love what I'm doing. I want my children to be successfully in life I want them to get more education knowing new things. My son Patrick and I Danielle on a field trip (class picture). We home school on weekends, till this year is over. He wants to try home schooling next year. He loves the weekend learning we do. I home schooled 2 of my other 4 children and they did amazing. I want Patrick to have at lease as great an experience as his brother and sister did. Thank you for your consideration. GOD Bless.
I am a homeschooling Momma of 4 kids, ages 5-10. Two of my kids are dealing with special challenges (ASD, SPD, ADHD and ODD, SPD, ADHD). We are very eclectic in our homeschool approach. We began with Montessori and now are much more ecclectic and child led, but with a Classical twist.
I run a Reggio-inspired early childhood development center in Park Ridge, New Jersey called The Valley School. I have always loved using a hands-on approach in the classroom, allowing for the children and teachers to experience things together and learn at the same time.
I work at a primary school in Rural NSW and have started trying to get a maker space up and running for all students from K - 6. There is so much out there but unfortunately most is out of our reach due to budget constraints! Please help me to help our kids!
I work in an urban school district where many students are low-
income and not exposed to good literature and worldly concepts. I would like to expose them to as much hands-on learning as I can to give them a well-rounded education and make learning fun! Winning would surely help!
I love teaching young minds and planting the seeds of love for learning. Not only is the teacher important but what we offer our children. A great classroom could really feed their interest in learning.
My classroom is the school library. This space serves the entire school. Here students create in a MakerSpace, & seek out quiet work areas with comfortable seating for reading. Students collaborate on technology as they learn to navigate digital content & print resources. My dream space would accommodate all needs & create an open, inviting atmosphere that benefits all students.
Please vote for our Preschool! We would love to have all the items on our wish list for our class.
I have an amazing group of boys and girls that love to learn and really could use this to help prepare them for their future. Every Child deserves and opportunity to explore and express them self in a fun learning environment. Please vote for my Class room. Thank You.
I am a first time teacher and I have really enjoyed watching their minds grown and the kids beam as they grow.
I have noticed that when they are doing activities like build blocks they seem to learn more, than when you give them a piece of paper to learn from. This puts their imagination to work
Hi, my name is Tim and I'm an online ESL (English as a Second Language ) teacher. The majority of my students are from Taiwan and Russia. I will be moving to China this Fall to teacher English there and winning this contest will help me buy items for my students in rural China. Thanks!
As homeschoolers, we could all share access to the tools that we don't all have access to. Thank you for a great way to pay it forward in a community that has a shortage of hands on learning items. Homeschool children aren't given state funds like traditional schools and this would be a great way to help those in need in my community.
As you can imagine, funding in the low socioeconomic areas are limited. This is no different in the area that I teach. Many times my husband and I purchase the items needed to enhance my students learning experiences. There are some items including technology that I would love to have for my classroom that I just cannot purchase. For this reason, please vote for me!
I am a retired Special Education teacher who dreamed of constructing a Preschool/Daycare environment to identify children's needs prior to Ktg, Meeting those needs requires accessing numerous resources to support the acquisition of skills needed to be successful in school. With your help and support, I hope to fulfill my mission to "build a solid foundation for a child's future."
My students mean ALOT to me and there's nothing more rewarding than giving them a quality education through various strategies and activities.
Please vote for our class so that I may continue to provide "our students" the necessities needed to work hard in receiving a great education.
We work with AMAZING students with autism who are super heroes in our classroom every day! These tools will help our super heroes grow and learn about their world through their senses. It will also help these students learn how to adapt and find some sense in their daily environment. Materials will be shared with 4 classrooms serving students ages Kindergarten through 8th grade.

My kids range in multiple types of disabilities and needs. 75% of my classroom population are below the poverty line. Being able to supply the classroom with materials that encourage their confidence, interests and desire to be engaged will help the grow as learners. Thank you!
I am a homeschool mom of 4 and we love Educents! The freebies alone have kept us afloat on many assignments and I love being introduced to different creators.
We don't have a lot of extra cash for educational supplies and this contest would be absolutely amazing for my kids as well as the friends we co-op with. This is a great opportunity and we wish everyone good luck in the contest!
We are a homeschool family about to wrap up our second year! My son has really flourished! He has been asking to learn Spanish and how to play the piano. Winning this contest would allow us to get online Spanish lessons as well as a piano lesson curriculum. And enough Math and Science curriculum to last us a few years - which would be a relief to have taken care of!

I'm a homeschooling mom of two boys ages 8 and 6. I am also pregnant with our 4th child and I am struggling with ESRD (end stage renal disease) and have been on dialysis for four years. Homeschooling has been the best option for us due to my boys learning styles and personalities but it can be costly. Winning this contest would help us out greatly and remove at least one of the financial burdens.
What a blessing it would be to have some of these resources in my classroom so that my students could enjoy and learn from them. There is never enough time or money to give the students everything they need and deserve but this would greatly help the process!
Hi, I'm Nancy from the youth development center. I work with 2-3 year olds. This is the stage where they are learning the most. They are always on the go and need new and exciting thing to play with and explore.

Specifically for science, technology and hands on learning.

I am graduating on May 1st and its my birthday! In my first career I was a kindergarten teacher assistant of 15 years and stepped up to get my teaching degree. I have a passion for teaching and guiding children on their own path of their choosing. I would love to be the winner to help me start my classroom and a wonderful career in teaching!
If you can take a minute to vote for us we would really appreciate it! We would love to win and stock our classroom for next year. There are so many fun things we want to learn about and would love to have these supplies to make it easier. Games, videos, and hands on experiments make learning more fun and it sticks with the kids when they do it themselves. Thank you!
Homeschooling 3 kids for 2 year now, kids are 11,9,7 if we were to receive a wonderful opportunity such as this we will pass along items we are finished with.
With 3 different ages it can sometimes be a challenge to keep them interested in the core subjects but I do what I can. My list has things that will benefit our children and update resorses and organize or space.
Thank you for the vote!
Hi! I've been teaching Common Core Algebra and
Consumer Math to students with special needs. We do not have enough materials to differentiate for each of their individual needs. Please help me show them that math can be fun!!!!!!
My classroom desperately needs a well equipped sensory room. I have used my own money to buy the few lights that we have in there. This $10,000 would help me equip my sensory room with the best of the best. We are a low income Title 1 school and funds are low. Please vote for me so that my kids with varying disabilities can get the sensory room that they deserve.
I am a single mom homeschooling my 8 yr old daughter for the first time this year and it has been a great journey for both of us! Getting more supplies would help my daughter on her journey to learning :).
I am a dedicated 8th grade social studies teacher who loves this crazy profession! I am committed to creating the next generation of globally conscious citizens and future voters. The students that I have today in social studies class will decide your fate and mine tomorrow!
My goal for my students is to get all of the necessary materials they need to succeed in our classroom and also for support in the student’s homes. Students need to have access to educational materials in their homes to extend their learning and provide a rich learning atmosphere that connects home and school. Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration!
I teach in a Title 1 school where over half of our students struggle with poverty. We need materials beyond just books. Being able to do hands-on experiments would allow my students to learn through real world scenarios. Please vote for my class so together we can help them get not only excited about math and science, but also about becoming life-long learners!!
I am a K/1 teacher in Compton, CA.We are a low income dist and need as much help as we can get.Teachers are putting much of our hard-earned paychecks into the classroom, rather than into our own budgets.I would love to be able to get these to use in my classroom and spark that love of learning these children so desperately need! Please vote for me and help me accomplish this goal.Thank you.
I have been a teacher for 21 years. I have always worked in title 1 schools. Each year we have to prioritize what we can buy and always put off the "extras" until we get a donation or I just spend my own money. That still only provides a little bit more, not everything the children should have. I would love to provide my students with as much as they deserve - the world!
My special needs would so benefit from these items. Their levels and needs are so diverse that I is difficult to get the materials necessary for them to really achieve and succeed. Please help me to help them?
Thank you for your votes (*_*)
Hello everyone!! I am super excited about this opportunity. Giving students a chance to learn through hands on experiences and activities. My classroom is filled with busy minds and hands ready to explore and learn. Im always looking for activities and toys that are developmentally appropriate for the future leaders of america. I a woman with a disability that allows me to be at home, however I find it important to teach my children at home while earning a degree to teach more children with disabilities. This winning could enable me to give my students more adequate teaching tools and materials and give me an edge to teaching my sons who struggle with reading to excel. Thanks and God bless:D
We are entering into a wonderful new opportunity at your school. Students will be offered a catalogue full of enrichment class for the next school year; only problem. we need enriching curriculum for our learners. This would be a wonderful way to build the tradition and leave a legacy of life long learners.
I am a 2nd Grade Teacher at a Title 1 School in Fayetteville, NC. I have a wonderful group of students, who are very eager young learners. I want to provide the best education possible for them, during their second grade year.
I teach in an inner city school district where most of the curriculum is outdated, serviceable and missing manipulative tools for the students to use. I serve a highly diverse student population within my classroom that includes ESL and Special needs students. Please help me attain the supplies that my students desperately need to reach their academic goals. Thank you for your support!
If I win my pupils will benefit a lot since they come from a rural set up that need resource back up for their education materials. Our school was blown off by a storm maybe this may help them get back their torn and rained books or blown off roofs.
We are a small Title I school in rural southwest Virginia. We have a high percentage of students who receive free and reduced lunch and a high percentage of ELL students. I just want to provide as many opportunities for my students as possible.
I'm a first grade teacher. It is imperative for our students to have access to technology. Many times 15-20 devices are shared between multiple classrooms and they are not available. I'd like to equip my classroom with electronic devices so that my students will always have access to them . Please vote to give my students the best chance to be ready for their future education. Thank you!
Our students need to have updated technology. Our students learn with hands-on activities. I would like to have 2 smart boards, colored printer and Ipads for our students. The color computer with cartridges is needed as our curriculum comes off the program online. Please help me in giving the best education for our special education population, they need to have the opportunity to learn.
Please Vote for me. I would at an alternative school and I want to provide career and college readiness programming to these students to help unleash their potential. I want them to know that they too can go to college and be successful.
I am a Kindergarten teacher at a Title 1 school. I love my students and we all work hard through out the year. It is because of their "Yes I Can" attitude that I made it as an Arizona Rodel Foundation Finalist for 2015-2016 school year. Please vote for our class!
My kids love science and building! The yearly subscription kits would be a great addition to their science education. And, the games will be a wonderful practice for my son. Teaching at home is very rewarding, but can get expensive. Thank you, Educents!
Do shiny new things attract your eye? They do me! Just think how excited my students will be if, when they walked into my classroom and saw that everything was brand new. They would take so much pride in coming to school and engage in the learning. Help me engage my students!
I am homeschooling my grandsons and they are identical twins. The oldest has symptoms of Autism/Asperger's syndrome and faced being on meds & not being able to learn the way he needed to learn. I would LOVE to develop a Science curriculum that's geared toward his learning capabilities as he is interested in Science.
I'm here b/c my daughter can't attend public/private school for health reasons. We use as many "free" resources as we can, or I purchase at a discount. My wishlist will get her thru HS. And, It will be a blessing to win. I have read some of the entries. And, I see there are others out there are as deserving as I. So, I challenge all contestants to vote for one another. I will. Will you?
I am the only high school teacher in a small title 1 school. Our school has no funding for upgrades for the science classroom. The technology in the laboratory dates back to the 1980's. With your vote, we will be getting 21st century light microscopes for the science classroom.
Education today is ever evolving and changing, but that does not mean that all subject matter is to be shoved to the side. I am of the school of thought that in order to teach a child, you must teach the whole child. You have to spark curiosity and excitement all while giving them the mandatory curriculum. My wishlist fulfills the dream!
HI, we are a family of 9, 2 boys and 5 girls. We (I) have been homeschooling two years. We are a single income household. With several of our kids interested in science and music. Thank you Educents. Thank you to everyone who votes for our family. Also, Thank you to those who are just voting regardless if it's for us. God Bless!!
Our third grade classroom is in the highest poverty county in southeast Kansas. Due to high-stakes testing, our focus has been extensively on reading and math, but our students are missing out on science and real-world applications! We want to transform our classrooms into STEM-based, literacy-integrated classrooms. Please help us get supplies so our kids can be true 21st Century learners!
I am working toward getting my classroom involved in more STEAM/STEM activities as well as building creative writers. My products are geared to creativity and building these skills. Legos are a great storystarter! Please vote to help my 5th graders as I prepare them to be independent thinkers as they move on to middle school!
I am a homeschooling mother to two great kids. I try my best to provide them with a great life full of learning. We are on one income and as savvy as I am at finding free and cheap materials, I still fall short. They are giving away some great materials to the teachers with the most votes. So please take a minute of your time for me and my children.
This is a new venture for my family. We have only been homeschooling for the past year as a whole. I have always been very driven to make sure they are well-learned and well-behaved children. They have never disappointed me so I would love the opportunity to win something nice for them. With our budget, we have to use as many free resources as I can find and get very creative. Thanks for voting!
As we all know, teachers have limited resources. Help a teacher to get effective resources that will help create a more positive learning environment. The kids would love to have these wonderful items in the classroom to help them have a complete, well-rounded education.
People should vote for me because I have a 3 and 5 yr old that are full of thought and imagination that I am afraid they would lose in the test happy public schools system. I cannot afford parochial school and I am doing my best to teach them at home.
I'm a homeschooling mom, so any items for our classroom come out of our single income budget. It's a lot of pressure to provide engaging and educational resources for my girls. Winning this would be a dream come true :)
We are hoping to get help giving Zechariah the best home school opportunities we can. Zech is 11 and has special needs which right now means home schooling is our best option. Unfortunately some of the wants and needs are outside of our budget.
Thank you so much for your consideration and your vote!!
I need votes to win lots of cool stuff for my classroom. My students are all at risk but are also at a school that is challenging them academically to break the poverty cycle in their lives. Please help me help them by voting for my wishlist. You can vote every day from now through May 6.
My school is a high poverty school with 95% of the students on free and reduced lunches. Parents can't afford supplies, therefore I buy them. This leaves me little money for curriculum. Please support our students.
I am a homeschooling mother of four, and I never say know to a chance for a good deal! I just want the best for my children. I'm sure that is what every teacher and mother says, but it is the job I love! If I win this it would mean a lot of new fun learning in our home!
