I love being a homeschool Mom, 14 years of it now :) I have some pretty fun items in my EduCents wishlist: the whisper phone & toobaloos for reading practice during quiet times, all the Magformers sets they have (my kids fell in love with these a few years ago at a local childrens museum and would love to have all these sets!), the anti-coloring book, guitars, and more!
Century Middle School is creating a one of kind Makerspace in our school library. We have finally opened our space, but we need so much more! This contest would supply us with so many projects for all students grades 6 through 8th. We are also creating small kits for our various programs....from GT to SPED.
Thank you for supporting our vision!
Every child has a story in my class, and it is my wish to create the classroom of their dreams. I would like my children not only to feel safe and loved, but enriched in their 'second home'! There's nothing more delightful than to see their faces light up when they are learning in a fun way. Please support me, so I could make my kids' dream come true!
We are in our 3rd year of homeschooling. In TX we receive no money or support from our local/zoned school district. Homeschooling has been a wonderful journey for us. We currently share resources and if we win we will definitely be sharing! Any additional resources we can win will be beneficial!!!

I have two special needs kids we adopted out of foster care. I homeschool with another mom who also has special needs children. Our children have multiple disabilities and two are terminal and had to be taken out of public school due to our schools being unable to accommodate the smallest of our children's needs. Winning these supplies can allow them to reach their fullest potential.
Hi! As a long time First Grade teacher, I could really use a face lift for my classroom! I'm switching schools next year and would love to start the school year with some fresh supplies for my Firsties. Please take a moment and vote!
I teach Enrichment to 3-5 yr old children at a small catholic school. Enrichment is part of our preschool program for children who are enrolled all day. I teach a lot of science, we dissected a cow eye today! The students love learning about cultures so we have, "World Wednesday" when we visit a new country in our pretend airplane. These supplies will help to elevate their learning experience.
Mrs Stoever teaches 2nd grade in a district that is severely underfunded. She has 25 kids in her class working with books that are outdated, computers that hardly work and limited classroom supplies. She continues to keep a positive attitude and deserves to be recognized for all she does for our kids.
I work at a Title 1 school and my students don't have many real life experiences to relate the content that they are learning to. If I win, I would purchase resources and materials to make their learning more meaningful and easier to relate to.

I just completed my first year of teaching. Throughout my college career, I learned how to educate using lots of interactive technology (SMART Boards, interactive projectors, etc.). However, my district currently does not have these interactive elements in place in regards to the whole group instruction. I would love an interactive projector or a SMART Board.

I am homeschooling my grandsons and they are identical twins. The oldest has symptoms of Autism/Asperger's syndrome and faced being on meds & not being able to learn the way he needed to learn. I would LOVE to develop a Science curriculum that's geared toward his learning capabilities as he is interested in Science.
As a first year teacher, I did not have much experience with classrooms and was not aware as to what happens behind the scene. This first year has given me much experience. Working in the south bronx I see that many of these students lack supplies. I created my list based on what I saw my students needed. It's not just for me but for my students.
I have just started homeschooling my 13 year old son Harvey, who after a term at high school was feeling under pressure and completely overwhelmed at the pace of school. He has dyspraxia and speech delay which means the messages from the brain to his hands i.e. motor skills are very slow. Harvey's mental wellbeing and happiness is paramount to me. We would ABSOLUTELY LOVE it if we won. Thanksx

I teach 2nd grade in Japan, so I am always thinking of ways to help my students learn more English. My students really enjoy science, so most of my wish list is science based. I am also a mom to two young boys. If I won my wish list I would be able to bless my students and my boys with fun and engaging resources to fuel their love of science.
Thank you for looking, please vote for me!
I am homeschooling both of my daughters. Winning would give them opportunities they otherwise wouldn't get. My youngest daughter has Sensory Possessing disorder and I have added lots of items for her that would help her throughout our day. For my oldest daughter I have added music items since she has been asking to learn an instrument.
Thank you for your consideration.
People should vote for me because I have a 3 and 5 yr old that are full of thought and imagination that I am afraid they would lose in the test happy public schools system. I cannot afford parochial school and I am doing my best to teach them at home.

It is exciting to see students who were reluctant even thinking about the dissections in Biology now wanting to have a career in a related field because they were given the opportunity to study in such a hands-on way.
I'd like to have resources for students to enhance their study and delve deeper into fields they enjoy. Because we have a library for our co-op, we store and reuse the materials.
Motivating the Unmotivated Readers!
How can you say no to a great book if your room is filled with them? A classroom library assorted with areas to read and stuffed animals and special furniture just for the readers. Who wouldn't want to read? My passion is to find that just right book for each student. I would love to create the perfect atmosphere for them.
Hello! I teach 1st grade at a wonderful charter school in Phoenix Arizona which specializes in the arts. I plan on using the materials toward my everyday teaching and center activities. Also, the addition of 2nd grade material will go toward differentiation in my teaching. I strive for my kids to be well rounded and respectful individuals.
I work at Frederick Douglass Elementary in Overtown. I would like to win this prize to give my students a space to forget about their troubles at home. A place that is well decorated and clean. A place where everything is taken care for them. A class and community that serves as their safe haven.
Jack is a bright and very active (almost) 5 year old. He is having some issues with ADD and sensory processing and so we have decided to homeschool him for Kinder. We did preschool at home and he has done an amazing job. We are a family of 5 and the cost of homeschool is a burden. I really hope this contest allows me to give him some of the tools that we need for his continued growth. God bless!
Always looking for ways and supplies to help improve my teaching and my students' learning. This can be an incredibly expensive endeavor, as many of you know. So, please help me achieve my goals by voting for my wishlist to be funded.
Thank you so very much!

I work at an awesome school and we have the best teachers. They are so nice and love to make a difference in a child's live. One of those awesome teachers is Mrs. Washington. She love her kids and we as a school would love to win stuff for our classrooms. Like paper, crayons and good thing for the class. Thank You
Investigating Butterflies & Caterpillars! My preschool is creating a Monarch Way station. The dream classroom will provide the preschool with resources to expand learning while the students watch and learn about caterpillars and butterflies in the garden. The preschool serves students in Headstart and children with special needs and many do not have English as a first language .
I work in a school who has a wonderful and very deserving group of children. Coupled with the children we have a tireless administration and faculty and staff who go over and above to get the money to fund the needs of the school. We are moving toward a technological society and we are using antiquated equipment that
does not allow the students to reach their optimal potential.
I have three homeschoolers ranging from preschool to 2nd grade. We are constantly looking for more hands-on, interactive ways to learn new things.
This would provide us with some of the resources to give our girls a great start!
We have 4 kids varying in ages with different abilities who love learning. If we had the money we would indulge more in all of their curiosities such as science experiments and a greenhouse where they can see God's wonderful creation grow right before their eyes. We decided to homeschool so that we can give our children the best education we can and the most of our attention as we can.
My goal for my students is to get all of the necessary materials they need to succeed in our classroom and also for support in the student’s homes. Students need to have access to educational materials in their homes to extend their learning and provide a rich learning atmosphere that connects home and school. Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration!
The Little Light House is the school who greatly needing this blessing from God. Our school is located in Jackson Mississippi. We are a special needs Christian School who does not receive Federal Funding. The school is tuition free for the families. We are ran strictly by fundraising and private donations.
I'm a single, homeschooling mom to two fabulous girls, with very different needs. One has severe cognitive, speech and language delays due to Down Syndrome, one has some tough sensory issues. It would be amazing to have everything funded for our learning for the next few years. Thank you for voting!
I love teaching Pre-Kindergarten, but it can get very expensive! Teaching children how to care for things takes a toll on the classroom items. The money would be spent on books, learning toys, and classroom supplies that help the students have fun while learning. Thank you for your vote!

If you can take a minute to vote for us we would really appreciate it! We would love to win and stock our classroom for next year. There are so many fun things we want to learn about and would love to have these supplies to make it easier. Your Vote Matters - Support A Home Schooling Mama on an adventure with my two healthy little ones. Learning as we go and loving life. I believe in raising good humans and that life should be lived to the fullest. I'm excited to take my kids education to the next level this year and am in LOVE with the amazing amount of tools and resources available for all types of learning styles.
I operate a home daycare with early learning and preschool. I don't qualify for funding and or grants as registered centers do, as I am a private. Over the last 2 years we have grown beyond my expectations. We would love to win the items that we have picked out as a group and would make the most of it. It would be used for years to come for playing, learning, and growing young minds.
Homeschooling 3 kids for 2 year now, kids are 11,9,7 if we were to receive a wonderful opportunity such as this we will pass along items we are finished with.
With 3 different ages it can sometimes be a challenge to keep them interested in the core subjects but I do what I can. My list has things that will benefit our children and update resorses and organize or space.
Thank you for the vote!
I am a catholic school teacher teaching 4th and 5th grade science and social studies. I feel so blessed each day I go into work and have a wonderful group of students. Queridos Amigos y Familia, por favor voten por mi para poder ganar materiales para mi salon para mejorar el aprendizaje de mis estudiantes. Thanks. Gracias.
We would love to update the collection but there is little to no funding and we rely mostly on donations. Currently our library has many outdated materials - some books are even from the 60s and 70s.
Jackson Street School is an amazing, multicultural, elementary school and we want all of our students to have access to the materials they deserve. Please vote for us!
I am a homeschool momma to 4 amazing boys. Three of them that I have the privilege to teach each day! Life is busy, exciting, challenging and I wouldn't change this experience for anything! Each of our boys learns in his own unique way. One thing I have noticed is that learning resources are expensive, this would give our boys education a huge boost in the years to come. :)
We are a homeschool family about to wrap up our second year! My son has really flourished! He has been asking to learn Spanish and how to play the piano. Winning this contest would allow us to get online Spanish lessons as well as a piano lesson curriculum. And enough Math and Science curriculum to last us a few years - which would be a relief to have taken care of!
We are a homeschool family from North Carolina. My husband always tells me I need to make school more fun for our three children! So, our dream school would have more art, science experiments, and educational activities that make learning an adventure. Thank you for considering us for a vote!
Our school library that serves 330 students is simply a former classroom. We need additional shelves and some comfortable seating to make the space more inviting to students. Being a small, rural K-8 school the closest book store is an hour away creating a welcoming space is important to helping students engage in reading for pleasure.
Ry is a very active and twice exceptional learner. He is asd and spd. We have been homeschooling this year in order to keep him engaged and to run with his obsessions. We would love to have a great amount of learning tools for him. Right now most of what we have is free downloads and he really could use this. I will be adding to his wish list as I go please vote for us.
Our district has moved towards and inquiry purposeful play based philosophy this year. To be successful I need to redo almost everything in my classroom. I am wanting to create inquiry tubs which require lots of money as well as other big ticket items. Please vote for me and help my students!!

I want to provide my students with the best education I can offer. I would like to be able to provide supplies for my students and fun activities that would help prepare them for their future.
Hello everyone!! I am super excited about this opportunity. Giving students a chance to learn through hands on experiences and activities. My classroom is filled with busy minds and hands ready to explore and learn. Im always looking for activities and toys that are developmentally appropriate for the future leaders of america. I look forward to you investing in the future of america.
These products would help my students tremendously. I work in a low income school where students are given free lunch. Many of my students have hardships in their lives and school is their only safe place. Please vote to help my classroom.
This is a new venture for my family. We have only been homeschooling for the past year as a whole. I have always been very driven to make sure they are well-learned and well-behaved children. They have never disappointed me so I would love the opportunity to win something nice for them. With our budget, we have to use as many free resources as I can find and get very creative. Thanks for voting!
I am an ESOL teacher in the Rochester City School District. My students travel to us from difficult places, many of them are refugee students. They come from diverse backgrounds, and traumatic situations but they never seem to let this get in their way. They are the most resilient, humble, kind, appreciative and loving students any teacher could ever have. I am humbled by them everyday!
By no fault of our own, we live in a very rough, urban area known as Brightmoor. However, we are just a hard working group of young Detroiters! We have character building to focus on improving our emotions then, English, history, science, math and fitness. We are reading about Miracle's Boys right now because many of us can relate to the story. We'd appreciate ANY donations!
I'm a dedicated, devoted, innovative, creative, energetic PreK teacher! This is my 7th year of teaching and even though things are tough financially across the country, it's still the absolute best job I've ever had! I love spending time in my classroom even after the kids have gone home. I love trying to figure out new ways to organize my small classroom.
I am passionate about students becoming all that they can be, no matter their circumstances. I want to give them experiences they will always cherish in our classroom. I hope to spark a joy for learning, that will lead to the big things they have to offer this world. Vote for my class, if you feel like John F Kennedy said "A child miseducated is a child lost."
I would love for my students to win this, we are a Title 1 school and we never have nice and new educational items for our kids. I have all mismatched tables and chairs. I use milk crates as storage containers. They never have enough supplies. This would be an opportunity of a lifetime.
I'm a HS mom of 3 young kids & our school needs will be changing as they grow. We LOVE nature & play, Life of Fred, studying cultures/languages (Spanish, French & Chinese are all a focus). My first loves math, science & music, my 2nd loves to learn through art & my 3rd loves dirt! We'd like to incorporate technology, but are limited to what is offered at our public library. Thanks for voting!
I am currently in my second year of teaching. I teach 8th grade Humanities in Rockaway, NY. I LOVE what I do and could not imagine myself doing anything else. My kids are my heart and soul. I want it all for them. I hope to give them a quality education and life skills. My kids deserve the best and I need to meet their varied needs, I hope you can help!
I am thrilled to join the dual immersion staff at Jamestown Elementary School. This is a new program that is the first of it's kind in Tuolumne County. First and second grade students from different backgrounds will be learning in both English and Spanish. I need to set up a new classroom from scratch and you can help me by voting for me and my soon-to-be classroom.
Going back to 1st grade next year and this will truly help me out. I am teaching in a low socio economic area, and most of my salary gets to be spent on prep work or making my lessons more enhances. I am passionate about teaching and would love to see the smiles on my students faces when their lessons are more vibrant and detailed with the help of these resources.
Hi! I am Homeschool Mom of 6! We live in a small town in Montana and would love to expand our curriculum. Winning would be a huge blessing for our kids! Just like other homeschool families we have to pay for all out own supplies. Please vote for us & help us get the curriculum items we really need. Share this for others to vote too. Thanks so much and God bless!
I am a Special Education Educator and I am working on my second year of teaching. As the years go by teacher's collect many things that they keep and share in their classrooms. Since I am just starting out there is not a lot of collection that has happened yet. My student's this year I am so proud of, they have come along way from where they started out at for the most part.
I would really be appreciative of it I homeschool my son due to him having asbergars and severe anxiety he can not attend public school and they was not willing to help I just want him to not feel doomed by his disabilitys but have the same education offered to others thank you and God bless
I am a Homeschooler to my special needs Autistic child. He gets in home therapy and we are living on a budget with one income.I have been buying books at the thift stores and garage sales. This would be nice to win and a dream come true for our Son.
Just help me make my students' learning lively and adventurous. They need it and our school can't afford any teaching resources. I keep preparing my own, but I have limited time and abilities. We want to learn and be happy :-) !!!
Please vote for my classroom! In my class I have 20 4-year-olds, with the majority of them being English Language Learners. Our school is a Title I school, so funding is very limited meaning often times we do not have access to certain resources that we need in order to offer them the best education.
I'm a first year kindergarten teacher at a title one school in North Carolina. My school consists of a majority of English Language Learners. My babies could greatly benefit from reading and writing resources. It is very significant that I provide my babies with the appropriate resources to build upon their background knowledge, vocabulary, comprehension, and sight words.
Our kids are very interested in music. Our daughter is interested in starting a singing career and is working hard toward that goal! She is also interested in learning to play a few instruments to enhance her performances.
I am a preschool teacher for 3 year olds at my church preschool. I love my job and the kids I have had the honor to teach, I consider it a calling. I would love to be able to purchase some great new items including iPads to bring my classroom and our school up to date with all the new and exciting teaching opportunities that are available and just a little out of our budget.
I have been a teacher for 21 years. I have always worked in title 1 schools. Each year we have to prioritize what we can buy and always put off the "extras" until we get a donation or I just spend my own money. That still only provides a little bit more, not everything the children should have. I would love to provide my students with as much as they deserve - the world!
Please help us win by voting for us! It would be such a blessing to win our wishlist. Homeschooling is an investment in our children, not only in time and energy, but also financially. Your votes could help us WIN curriculum and ease some of the financial burden without sacrificing quality curriculum.
Space Coast Early Intervention Center is growing in leaps and bounds. As we open new classrooms we are able to serve more students in our inclusion model classroom, where typically developing children are cared for next to children with a developmental disability. We love our school and we love our kids! Help us to replace and improve our classrooms!
Thank you for your VOTE!
We homeschool and I have four kids from teenager to toddler. With my wishlist I could be set till the last one is done and ready for real world. The school system failed us with my youngest son who is a little special needs. I have found my kids strengths and weaknesses since we started. Thanks for your vote.
Thank you for viewing our wish list. We are preparing a preschool program for children with Autism, behavioral needs and disabilities, as well as low income families. Winning these items would support our program stocking the classroom and being able to reduce the cost to our families.
Hello Friends and Family,
I love teaching science. My goal as a teacher is to make the most memorable learning hands-on experience for my scholars. I am trying to win more materials to continue to nurture my goal as an educator. Please vote as many times as you can to help me get the most votes to be awarded with my dream classroom.
I am a home school mama on a very tight budget. Since my husband had a stroke in June of last year everything as been very tight. My kids do attend a virtual school called connections academy. But on the side to help them I do my own homeschooling. There is still alot I need to make my homeschooling room a dream come true.
I am a Kindergarten teacher at a Title 1 school. I love my students and we all work hard through out the year. It is because of their "Yes I Can" attitude that I made it as an Arizona Rodel Foundation Finalist for 2015-2016 school year. Please vote for our class!
I love teaching young minds and planting the seeds of love for learning. Not only is the teacher important but what we offer our children. A great classroom could really feed their interest in learning.
I'm graduating in may with my Elementry Education Degree. I'm way excited to be a teacher. I have a job lined up for the fall. I love teaching. Helping the students learn and expand their knowledge is an amazing thing. If I win this it would help me set up my classroom for my future students. It would give them and me an enviroment we both want to learn in.
I am a homeschool mom of 4. My kids are 10,9,7 and 6. They are a lot of fun and a handful. We homeschool from a travel trailer as we work to correct our credit and buy our first home. We love the adventure and are having fun while we are on this adventure. I want new curriculum to build more options into their curriculum. Next year we will be learning between grades 1=6.
Please vote for our classroom. We are part of a collaboration and our classroom is in a child care center. Some of the students are here from 5am to 6pm . They stay not only for pre k but also for before and after.
I am a special education teacher in San Jose. I have wonderful middle school students who have skills as low as 1st grade and as high as grade level, and English language learners who are just learning English . I would love to win these great classroom supplies and materials. My students would be so happy that they had new things that were current! Thank you!
I am a K/1 teacher in Compton, CA.We are a low income dist and need as much help as we can get.Teachers are putting much of our hard-earned paychecks into the classroom, rather than into our own budgets.I would love to be able to get these to use in my classroom and spark that love of learning these children so desperately need! Please vote for me and help me accomplish this goal.Thank you.
I am a 6th grade teacher, who has taught grades K-11 and understand the importance of a 21st century classroom. Our students are depending on us, as teachers, to send them into the world prepared for the jobs are awaiting them. Including STEAM, Science, Technology, Art, and Math is the most beneficial skills our students require for high school, college, and the work place.
Help! We need new furniture. We are always tripping over our big bulky desk. They are too big and old for the classroom. The furniture is not conducive for the way students learn and teachers teach in the 21st Century. We need a new environment!
I have been teaching for 30 years and my passion has always been in the classroom helping kids. I would love to have a classroom that is inviting, fun and a place to feel safe and motivated, all at once. I need a new look for the kids and myself.
I would love to equip my classroom with materials for all my students, regardless of their ability. The materials would be available for use during the day, as well as being able check them out for use at home at night and over the weekend. Thank you for considering my 5th grade class and students!
Hi, I'm currently teaching three of them at home. I am disabled and my disability does slow me down a little and my budget tight. Two of my sons had learning problems. It would mean so much to my family if we had a little help at this time. Thank you for considering us!
We are just finishing our first year of homeschooling and it was the best decision we ever made for our son. He struggled in school with learning disabilities, anxiety and just falling though the cracks. Now I can teach him in the ways that he learns best - with a hands-on approach. It has been amazing to see how far he has come in the first year and we look forward to the future!
We are going to start homeschooling the boys in the upcoming school year. We will need lots of supplies and curriculum to keep them moving in the right directions. Please click and vote for us so that we have a chance of winning a wishlist full of materials. It won't cost you anything except a minute of your time. Please help.
Thank you in advance.
It seems like public schools will forever struggle to provide basic text and tools to support the needs of all students. Meanwhile, teachers do whatever it takes to get things done using innovation and clever contests! My students battle emotional and behavioral issues, that coexist with their learning disabilities. We have to step outside of the box to find tools and resources to learn!
Please take a second to vote for me so that I can continue to enrich the lives of others. Teaching requires the most education for the least amount of pay. While I would love to just keep buying things for my students to help them learn, the reality is I need my hard earned dollars to support my own kids who are in college. So please vote!
I homeschool two of my children ages 11 and 7. We moved to Honduras in 2007 and in 2011 began our homeschool journey. Having some funds to fill in the gaps we experience living abroad would be so wonderful! I would like to add things to our school to enhance their learning. Specifically for science, technology and hands on learning.

I am a homeschooling mama to 7 awesome kids. Four of my children had a difficult start in life before they were mine, and as a result have multiple, severe learning disabilities. Our school district was unable to provide my kids with the help they needed, so I chose to teach them all at home. We are very short on resources! Help us win our dream classroom!
We are new to homeschooling, we have four children. At this point I am creating a curriculum of my own for my children; that span three different grade levels, with free tools I find online. $10,000 would allow us to be able to purchase manipulatives credible second language, and music curriculum, also books and supplies for our program. This would make a huge difference in our children's lives.
I am Visual Arts Educator in NY. We are a high needs district. Unfortunately due to yearly tight budgets it can be difficult to supply my scholars with the necessary tools to complete various projects. My students have amazing talent that can be overlooked because we do not have the tools or materials needed.
We are a close homeschooling family who lives in Gaspe trying to build our own self sustaining home and garden with no help. We are adding a classroom to our home this year and this would really help to add to the room . It would be wonderful to have so many new items to add to a new room.

They love to give to others and will give before they ask for something for themselves.

Please help me equip my classroom to help my students achieve! They have lots of obstacles, but access to high quality materials and instruction shouldn't be one of them!
Our classroom is in a rural school from a farming community. We do not have buses so everyone walks. We are a single district and do not have the resources that bigger districts can afford. Our families are hard working down to earth people. As a second grade we do all we can to allow them the things they do not have the privilege of at home.

This is our first year Homeschooling. We have had a very good year and have enjoyed our time together. BUT, we could use some hands-on materials. We homeschool our GreatGrand children, two 3 year olds, one 6 year old, and one 10. So, as you can see, we need some variations in curriculum.
Good luck to all who are entered.

We are a small childcare center. Our primary goal is ensure every child has the opportunity for school readiness. This funding would be a huge blessing as we would be able to purchase new classroom supplies, books, curriculum items, etc without passing on the financial burden to our parents. 20% of our children fall at/below the poverty level. This funding would help us achieve that.
I teach K-12 vocal music at Rall's County school district in Missouri. For the past three years I have had three rooms. I move all my equipment from place to place. I am always trying to find ways to add hands-on learning experiences for our students. Many of the items I wished for provide opportunities for the children to move around doing interactive activities. I also am trying to introduce computer/technology opportunities for my students by integrating things like beginning coding to my curriculum.
EXTRA, EXTRA, EXTRA-read it first here-PLAY is IMPORTANT TOO We are often times so focused on testing, data, and test scores that play is neglected. I will use the carefully selected items to support and encourage open-ended, hands-on play! My children want to PLAY and need these items to help facilitate a new hands-on learning experience.
Children have a thirst for knowledge and they deserve to have an engaging classroom that supports their social emotional needs. If this environment can be created I believe students can learn more than we ever thought. My wish list is full of hands-on activities that support S.T.E.M. Please help my classroom of first graders win these fabulous resources!
