Winning this would greatly help my childrens education. I have home schooled for the past 9 years to give my children the best one on one education I could. Please vote for me and share to others. Thank you.
I teach Enrichment to 3-5 yr old children at a small catholic school. Enrichment is part of our preschool program for children who are enrolled all day. These supplies will help to elevate their learning experience.

Our school library that serves 330 students is simply a former classroom. We need additional shelves and some comfortable seating to make the space more inviting to students. Being a small, rural K-8 school the closest book store is an hour away creating a welcoming space is important to helping students engage in reading for pleasure.
Hi! I am a teacher at a Hutterite Colony where I teach everything from Jr. Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. I have 11 great students who are also English Language Learners. Thank you for voting for US!
We are a small Title I school in rural southwest Virginia. We have a high percentage of students who receive free and reduced lunch and a high percentage of ELL students. I just want to provide as many opportunities for my students as possible.
My dream classroom is a place where children feel safe and encourages them to learn by using their imagination and curiosity to unravel their full potential. Having these items in my classroom will give them the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities that are engaging, entertaining and meaningful while learning at the same time. This is my idea of a "Dream Classroom"
I am a homeschooling mom who would love for our classroom to grow, it's coming upon that time for me to do a lot of purging and shopping for school materials. Winning this contest would be amazing as I'd be able to receive many products that I may not normally purchase. Thank you for voting for us!
We are just finishing our first year of homeschooling and it was the best decision we ever made for our son. He struggled in school with learning disabilities, anxiety and just falling though the cracks. Now I can teach him in the ways that he learns best - with a hands-on approach. It has been amazing to see how far he has come in the first year and we look forward to the future!

I am a homeschooling mama to 7 awesome kids. Four of my children had a difficult start in life before they were mine, and as a result have multiple, severe learning disabilities. Our school district was unable to provide my kids with the help they needed, so I chose to teach them all at home. We are very short on resources! Help us win our dream classroom!
Every since I was a small girl, I played school and acted like the teacher. I would cry when I had to miss school because my passion to be there was so strong. If you can take a minute to vote for us we would really appreciate it! We would love to win and stock our classroom for next year. There are so many fun things we want to learn about and would love to have these supplies to make it easier. Games, videos, and hands on experiments make learning more fun and it sticks with the kids when they do it themselves. Thank you!
I am a home school mama on a very tight budget. Since my husband had a stroke in June of last year everything as been very tight. My kids do attend a virtual school called connections academy. But on the side to help them I do my own homeschooling. There is still alot I need to make my homeschooling room a dream come true.
People should vote for me because I have a 3 and 5 yr old that are full of thought and imagination that I am afraid they would lose in the test happy public schools system. I cannot afford parochial school and I am doing my best to teach them at home.
I am a Catechism teacher in our parish church. I would love to have each of my students receive a set of books so they could study with them. I would love to make real lanterns for a project so they could hold them out and shine to others the light from inside them!
I am working at a small rural school. If I was able to win, my classroom would receive many electronic items needed to propel us into the 21st century. First, we would have all new laptops loaded with all the applications, and a traveling computer cart that would give us a place to charge them all in one convenient place. We would also install an interactive SMART board, complete with clickers.
Going back to 1st grade next year and this will truly help me out. I am teaching in a low socio economic area, and most of my salary gets to be spent on prep work or making my lessons more enhances. I am passionate about teaching and would love to see the smiles on my students faces when their lessons are more vibrant and detailed with the help of these resources.

I am trying to win more materials to continue to nurture my goal as an educator. Please vote as many times as you can to help me get the most votes to be awarded with my dream classroom.
I absolutely see the need and positive impact creative learning spaces have on our student's learning and achievement. I’ve removed the teacher desk, creating spaces led by student choice and involving the students in the design process- taking the time to actually ask students how they learn best. I would love opportunity to purchase quality products.
I teach Science to middle school students with no Science budget from the school. All of my materials in my classroom are either funded by fundraisers that I do or the small donations I get from a few parents with kind hearts who also love Science. So vote for me because I or really my students can use the materials to learn more Science, and I have a cool Star Wars selfie picture.

Thank you!
I a woman with a disability that allows me to be at home, however I find it important to teach my children at home while earning a degree to teach more children with disabilities. Our area schools are decent but overcrowded. We enrolled our son in FLV but we are not happy with the testing standards in our state. Our daughter will be going to 1st grade. So this will be my first year doing homeschool "solo". I am so excited to teach them away from a computer. It makes me proud to be able to be part of a supportive homeschooling lifestyle.
Motivating the Unmotivated Readers!
How can you say no to a great book if your room is filled with them? A classroom library assorted with areas to read and stuffed animals and special furniture just for the readers. Who wouldn't want to read? My passion is to find that just right book for each student. I would love to create the perfect atmosphere for them.

While I've been a learning support teacher for 12 years, this is my first year as an autistic support teacher. I love my students, however, I need sensory support, occupational therapy, reading, science, and math resources for my classroom. I teach in an inner city school and I've spent about $1000 of my own money so far this year. I hope you'll vote for me!!!
I homeschool two of my children ages 11 and 7. We moved to Honduras in 2007 and in 2011 began our homeschool journey. Having some funds to fill in the gaps we experience living abroad would be so wonderful! I would like to add things to our school to enhance their learning. Specifically for science, technology and hands on learning.
As you can imagine, funding in the low socioeconomic areas are limited. This is no different in the area that I teach. EXTRA, EXTRA, EXTRA-read it first here-PLAY is IMPORTANT TOO We are often times so focused on testing, data, and test scores that play is neglected. I will use the carefully selected items to support and encourage open-ended, hands-on play! My children want to PLAY and need these items to help facilitate a new hands-on learning experience.
I love teaching young minds and planting the seeds of love for learning. Not only is the teacher important but what we offer our children. A great classroom could really feed their interest in learning.
I am a School Speech Therapist who works with many special needs students. Sensory and organization is key with many of them. I strive to give my students the best that I can to build up and encourage them to go beyond any expectation. Over the year, items get very used and new items are always in need to continue our learning and growing.
As we all know, teachers have limited resources. Help a teacher to get effective resources that will help create a more positive learning environment. The kids would love to have these wonderful items in the classroom to help them have a complete, well-rounded education.

By no fault of our own, we live in a very rough, urban area known as Brightmoor. However, we are just a hard working group of young Detroiters! We have character building to focus on improving our emotions then, English, history, science, math and fitness. We are reading about Miracle's Boys right now because many of us can relate to the story. We'd appreciate ANY donations!
Our district has moved towards and inquiry purposeful play based philosophy this year. To be successful I need to redo almost everything in my classroom. I am wanting to create inquiry tubs which require lots of money as well as other big ticket items. Please vote for me and help my students!!
We are a small childcare center. Our primary goal is ensure every child has the opportunity for school readiness. This funding would be a huge blessing as we would be able to purchase new classroom supplies, books, curriculum items, etc without passing on the financial burden to our parents. 20% of our children fall at/below the poverty level. This funding would help us achieve that.
We are a close homeschooling family who lives in Gaspe trying to build our own self sustaining home and garden with no help. We are adding a classroom to our home this year and this would really help to add to the room . It would be wonderful to have so many new items to add to a new room.
This past year we have had some financial setbacks. In trying to change life for the better we have moved in with my husband's family. We have cut finances and this past school year didn't include a lot of new hands on activities. My children are really excited about the opportunity and possibility of winning a lot of awesome hands on tools. This would make for an amazing couple of years! Thanks!

While I would love to just keep buying things for my students to help them learn, the reality is I need my hard earned dollars to support my own kids who are in college. So please vote!
What a wonderful gift this would be for any teacher!!

We love our school and we love our kids! Help us to replace and improve our classrooms!
Thank you for your VOTE!
After 13 years in the same building teaching early childhood special needs children , I am having to move to another building. All the supplies I have acquired throughout the years must stay in the building, hence starting over. These items will assist in making a fresh start and enhance my new early childhood special education preschool program.

This is a new venture for my family. We have only been homeschooling for the past year as a whole. I have always been very driven to make sure they are well-learned and well-behaved children. They have never disappointed me so I would love the opportunity to win something nice for them. With our budget, we have to use as many free resources as I can find and get very creative. Thanks for voting!

This is our first year Homeschooling. We have had a very good year and have enjoyed our time together. BUT, we could use some hands-on materials. We homeschool our GreatGrand children, two 3 year olds, one 6 year old, and one 10. So, as you can see, we need some variations in curriculum.
Good luck to all who are entered.
My kids love science and building! The yearly subscription kits would be a great addition to their science education. And, the games will be a wonderful practice for my son. Teaching at home is very rewarding, but can get expensive. Thank you, Educents!
My classroom desperately needs a well equipped sensory room. I have used my own money to buy the few lights that we have in there. This $10,000 would help me equip my sensory room with the best of the best. We are a low income Title 1 school and funds are low. Please vote for me so that my kids with varying disabilities can get the sensory room that they deserve.
Kindly help AL Fekr Khanah STEAM team getting all of those wonderful materials to keep our educational programs at acceptable fees. Why? We aim to help our kids take better education as they missed a lot of wonderful opportunities outside our education system.
We believe that even small drop of water can break large stones by hitting them day by day.
I am always trying to find ways to add hands-on learning experiences for our students. Many of the items I wished for provide opportunities for the children to move around doing interactive activities. I also am trying to introduce computer/technology opportunities for my students by integrating things like beginning coding to my curriculum.

As a first year teacher, I did not have much experience with classrooms and was not aware as to what happens behind the scene. This first year has given me much experience. Working in the south bronx I see that many of these students lack supplies. I created my list based on what I saw my students needed. It's not just for me but for my students.
I’m a 1st grade teacher with a goal to set-up a Maker Space at my K-6 school. Our students love to design, create, and learn through hands-on activities. They need a special place where they can come in to plan, collaborate, build, engineer, problem solve, and be creative. Please vote for me to make my dream a reality. Our students are awesome kids who truly deserve this experience. Thank you!
I am a Special Education Educator and I am working on my second year of teaching. As the years go by teacher's collect many things that they keep and share in their classrooms. Since I am just starting out there is not a lot of collection that has happened yet. My student's this year I am so proud of, they have come along way from where they started out at for the most part.
I work in a school who has a wonderful and very deserving group of children. Coupled with the children we have a tireless administration and faculty and staff who go over and above to get the money to fund the needs of the school. We are moving toward a technological society and we are using antiquated equipment that
does not allow the students to reach their optimal potential.
These are only 2 of the children I work with : My 17 year old son (Yes, this is recent!) and my 9 year old niece. Both are special needs and eager to learn! My niece can not read. She truly needs lots of 1-on-1 and my sister has asked to take her on again. We just need lots of resources to help her learn while having fun.
Our third grade classroom is in the highest poverty county in southeast Kansas. Due to high-stakes testing, our focus has been extensively on reading and math, but our students are missing out on science and real-world applications! We want to transform our classrooms into STEM-based, literacy-integrated classrooms. Please help us get supplies so our kids can be true 21st Century learners!
