Please vote for my classroom! In my class I have 20 4-year-olds, with the majority of them being English Language Learners. Our school is a Title I school, so funding is very limited meaning often times we do not have access to certain resources that we need in order to offer them the best education.
I am always trying to find ways to add hands-on learning experiences for our students. Many of the items I wished for provide opportunities for the children to move around doing interactive activities. I also am trying to introduce computer/technology opportunities for my students by integrating things like beginning coding to my curriculum.
Our classroom is in a rural school from a farming community. We do not have buses so everyone walks. We are a single district and do not have the resources that bigger districts can afford. Our families are hard working down to earth people. As a second grade we do all we can to allow them the things they do not have the privilege of at home.
This past year we have had some financial setbacks. In trying to change life for the better we have moved in with my husband's family. We have cut finances and this past school year didn't include a lot of new hands on activities. My children are really excited about the opportunity and possibility of winning a lot of awesome hands on tools. This would make for an amazing couple of years! Thanks!
Please vote for me to win this and more cool stuff for my classroom. Since I have moved to Kindergarten I definitely need more resources for my students and 10,000 will go a LONG way. Please pass this along the one with the most votes wins!
I am currently in my second year of teaching. I teach 8th grade Humanities in Rockaway, NY. I LOVE what I do and could not imagine myself doing anything else. My kids are my heart and soul. We have very motivated learners at Medina High School who are eager to learn Mandarin Chinese. I have been constantly searching for new and innovative technologies that would enhance students’ learning. Please help us build our dream classroom that will provide more learning opportunities for our students!
I am a homeschool mom of 3 children. We homeschool on very limited amount of money. Our classroom at this time is our dining room. We would love to be able to have a separate room for school, with bookshelves, desks, maps, charts etc. As most public & homeschool teachers know books & supplies aren't cheap. This would help our school so much.
What a fantastic opportunity! Obviously, winning would be so great. Most all homeschool families are single income. With that said, I wish everyone the best of luck! Thank you so much Educents, FreshGrade, S&S World Wide for such a generous giveaway.
We are a brand new Homeschooling Family. Educents has helped us begin to build our resources. We have loved using lapbooks, Life of Fred & STEM activities. The kids enjoy experiments & exploring outside. We would LOVE to win this Teacher Appreciation Contest! Educents is great at supporting Homeschool families and Traditional Teachers. We sure would love anyone reading this to give us a VOTE!
I am a dedicated mom. Have been teaching my son to read since he was just months old and I always find ways to encourage him to be better. We moved to a new neighborhood and my son attends a school that everyone raves about with amazing teachers and principal. They deserve to win for giving everything they've got to these children.
I am a single mom of three of the most amazing kids. I homeschool all three and enjoy teaching them everyday. I also run a business watching dogs. It's not always being a single parent, I can't get help from their father because he had past away years ago. But I do know he would be proud of our kids just as much as I am.
I am a Special Education Educator and I am working on my second year of teaching. As the years go by teacher's collect many things that they keep and share in their classrooms. I am retired from the military and became a homeschool teacher to my grandson. He developed anxiety while attending regular school along with a number of medical problems that kept him home. He is behind for his age. There is so much I want to show and teach him. Winning the dream classroom would definitely help in so many ways.

I would love to be able to purchase some great new items including iPads to bring my classroom and our school up to date with all the new and exciting teaching opportunities that are available and just a little out of our budget.
Please vote for my classroom to win. My students are the most deserving group of children; they challenge me and themselves everyday and I am proud to stand before them as their teacher. If we win, we will use the funds to upgrade our classroom computer, purchase new books, folders, binders, pencils, and notebook paper to further our educational endeavors. Thanks in advance for your support!
I am a 1st grade special educator. I love my job and wouldn't do anything else! I love watching my students grow and learn and watching the little "lightbulb" moments I get to witness everyday. Please help me equip my classroom to help my students achieve! They have lots of obstacles, but access to high quality materials and instruction shouldn't be one of them!
Would love to have these Items for my girls. We do the child led homeschooling. We don't push our girls to learn and we are limited to some things. The girls are learning so much better now. Please vote for us. My girls both have special needs and both parents have health issues. But we love to have them home to teach them and they rather be home.
This is my 3rd year teaching kindergarten and over the summer I will be changing classrooms, from kindergarten to Special Education. I am entering this contest to help create a wonderful classroom for my new students next Fall.
I am a first time teacher and I have really enjoyed watching their minds grown and the kids beam as they grow.
I have noticed that when they are doing activities like build blocks they seem to learn more, than when you give them a piece of paper to learn from. This puts their imagination to work
Hi! We are a homeschooling family. We are almost done with our second year of homeschooling and we love it! Educents has so many amazing products that we can use in our classroom. Thanks for voting!
Space Coast Early Intervention Center is growing in leaps and bounds. As we open new classrooms we are able to serve more students in our inclusion model classroom, where typically developing children are cared for next to children with a developmental disability. We love our school and we love our kids! Help us to replace and improve our classrooms!
Thank you for your VOTE!
As you can imagine, funding in the low socioeconomic areas are limited. This is no different in the area that I teach. Do shiny new things attract your eye? They do me! Just think how excited my students will be if, when they walked into my classroom and saw that everything was brand new. They would take so much pride in coming to school and engage in the learning. Help me engage my students!

I believe there is a super-hero inside of everyone waiting to come out. I teach my students to understand that super-heroes are ordinary people chosen to do extraordinary things. Please help me to equip my classroom with the tools necessary to help me better prepare my young super-heroes to take on the world!
We have been homeschooling for three years now. This would be such a blessing to our family. We have a very limited budget and don't buy much when it comes to new fun things. So I know how much my children would love to have new fun things to explore. This year we will have three officially doing school. They love to give to others and will give before they ask for something for themselves.
I am a homeschooling mama to 7 awesome kids. Four of my children had a difficult start in life before they were mine, and as a result have multiple, severe learning disabilities. Our school district was unable to provide my kids with the help they needed, so I chose to teach them all at home. We are very short on resources! Help us win our dream classroom!
My classroom desperately needs a well equipped sensory room. I have used my own money to buy the few lights that we have in there. This $10,000 would help me equip my sensory room with the best of the best. We are a low income Title 1 school and funds are low. Please vote for me so that my kids with varying disabilities can get the sensory room that they deserve.
Were a military family who have chosen to homeschool since we tend to be on the road a lot. We have 4 children between the ages of 8 and 1 and each of them have their own way of learning. We work hard to make sure our kids get what they need but like so many, this give away would help SO very much with our education.
I am a veteran teacher of 28 years in MCPS. I would love to update my classroom to make it engaging for all my kids. I see lots of great ideas on pinterest but they're are not free. I try my best to make my room engaging but$ 10,000 would be unbelievable to win. The possibilities are endless.

This would provide us with some of the resources to give our girls a great start!

This is my idea of a "Dream Classroom"

I work in a school who has a wonderful and very deserving group of children. Coupled with the children we have a tireless administration and faculty and staff who go over and above to get the money to fund the needs of the school. We are moving toward a technological society and we are using antiquated equipment that
does not allow the students to reach their optimal potential.
Every since I was a small girl, I played school and acted like the teacher. I would cry when I had to miss school because my passion to be there was so strong. I love seeing the faces of children when they accomplish something they have been struggling with. When you place a vote for me, you are also voting for these children to be successful in their elementary school years, which is vital!

It is exciting to see students who were reluctant even thinking about the dissections in Biology now wanting to have a career in a related field because they were given the opportunity to study in such a hands-on way.
I'd like to have resources for students to enhance their study and delve deeper into fields they enjoy. Because we have a library for our co-op, we store and reuse the materials.
I am going to graduate from Angelo State University in May and I have some great ideas for my classroom, but unfortunately my eyes are bigger than my wallet! I will need some help getting my new classroom set up! Please help me!
It seems like public schools will forever struggle to provide basic text and tools to support the needs of all students. Meanwhile, teachers do whatever it takes to get things done using innovation and clever contests! My students battle emotional and behavioral issues, that coexist with their learning disabilities. We have to step outside of the box to find tools and resources to learn!
I am a 6th grade teacher, who has taught grades K-11 and understand the importance of a 21st century classroom. We would ABSOLUTELY LOVE it if we won. Thanksx
MY CLASS IS A FAMILY! :D Teaching in a combined classroom for the first time; 2nd/3rd grade, has been a new challenge for me, but the hardest part is keeping students engaged in independent learning time while I work with other students. With lack of funding, I find myself spending more to make my classroom what I envisioned. My dream is to keep the fun flowing for those independent learners! :)

My name is Tracie Harrington and I have been teaching for the past 11 years at Clinton Elementary. This is my passion and I truly believe that with additional resources I can meet students where they are. I hope that with your votes we can acquire these items and continue to make learning fun and successful.
We thank you in advance!
I love my job, my school and the families I work with. Unfortunately, our school doesn't have a lot of money to purchase new items for our classrooms. This is such an awesome opportunity. Please vote for me - $10,000 will make a huge impact in supporting our student's learning.
Education today is ever evolving and changing, but that does not mean that all subject matter is to be shoved to the side. I am of the school of thought that in order to teach a child, you must teach the whole child. You have to spark curiosity and excitement all while giving them the mandatory curriculum. My wishlist fulfills the dream!
As a first year teacher, I did not have much experience with classrooms and was not aware as to what happens behind the scene. This first year has given me much experience. Working in the south bronx I see that many of these students lack supplies. I created my list based on what I saw my students needed. It's not just for me but for my students.
I have been teaching first grade for 6 years. I teach in a high poverty school. Many of my students have the opportunities that they do because of what I can provide them in the classroom. I would love to have even more options for them to read and manipulatives for them to explore in the classroom. We appreciate all of your help!
As a third year teacher in a school where over 60% of our children receive some form of Exceptional Children's benefits and 80% of the children receive free or reduced lunch.
If I won my dream classroom the students would be the really winners as would students that come to my class in the future. Please help my students win the classroom of their dreams
I am finishing up my 3rd of teaching SPED students and each year am gaining so much more confidence and insight! Most of my students need hands on activities to help them with their Reading and Math. It is hard to find materials that will activate their minds and allow them to grow and learn!!
I love teaching music to children, young and old. I dream to open a classroom for learning music while having fun. The Philippines is a very musical country, and I would like to contribute to raising better Filipinos through early music education.
As homeschoolers, we could all share access to the tools that we don't all have access to. Thank you for a great way to pay it forward in a community that has a shortage of hands on learning items. Homeschool children aren't given state funds like traditional schools and this would be a great way to help those in need in my community.
Our school budget is the lowest it has ever been. My students are in need of quality materials and educational tools. My hope is that my students will be among those who benefit from this amazing opportunity to receive such amazing products. They might not ever experience such things without this win. Please give them your vote!
Vote for me because I LOVE providing exciting, fun, & cutting edge technologies for my music students! Instruments & technology are costly investments, I would love to have financial help so that I can purchase xylophones, glockenspiels, drums, recorders, iPads, SMARTResponse technology, & much more! Please vote for me so my students can have all opportunities to learn!
This has been a very trying year already. My husband has a chronic illness that came back into full force and now I am looking for work and I am trying my very hardest to support my husband and my children through this trying time. This would be a dream come true because I know that through the upcoming year my children's education will be paid for. Thanks so much!
We are an Oklahoma homeschool missionary family. We frequently travel across the state helping church volunteers learn to work with kids effectively. Our oldest daughter in on the autism spectrum, so she learns a little differently than most. In fact, she learns in different ways on different days of the week, so we have to keep a variety of curriculum on hand to meet her needs on any given day.
If you can take a minute to vote for us we would really appreciate it! We would love to win and stock our classroom for next year. There are so many fun things we want to learn about and would love to have these supplies to make it easier. Games, videos, and hands on experiments make learning more fun and it sticks with the kids when they do it themselves. Thank you!
Our school is considered a neighborhood school and many of our students live near the school. We have a large homeless population of students and families who are seeking in school and after-school opportunities for their children. It is our goal to offer as many enriching experiences as possible. We are considered a Title I school with a not so great ABC grading score. Help us reach our goals!
HI, we are a family of 9, 2 boys and 5 girls. We (I) have been homeschooling two years. We are a single income household. With several of our kids interested in science and music. Thank you Educents. Thank you to everyone who votes for our family. Also, Thank you to those who are just voting regardless if it's for us. God Bless!!
Hello! I am In home care provider and a mom.
I do love to win this because this will truly help me and my kids to learn and have fun.
The resources that we will receive will truly help us a lot.
This is our first year Homeschooling. We have had a very good year and have enjoyed our time together. BUT, we could use some hands-on materials. We homeschool our GreatGrand children, two 3 year olds, one 6 year old, and one 10. So, as you can see, we need some variations in curriculum.
Good luck to all who are entered.
Teaching is the most rewarding, enriching, humbling and awe-inspiring experience. I am a Kindergarten teacher and would love more than anything to be able to offer my students the subscription kits, science and maths resources that I so often drool over. Good luck to everyone:)
These are only 2 of the children I work with : My 17 year old son (Yes, this is recent!) and my 9 year old niece. Both are special needs and eager to learn! My niece can not read. She truly needs lots of 1-on-1 and my sister has asked to take her on again. We just need lots of resources to help her learn while having fun.
Thank you for viewing our wish list. We are preparing a preschool program for children with Autism, behavioral needs and disabilities, as well as low income families. Winning these items would support our program stocking the classroom and being able to reduce the cost to our families.
I teach in an inner city school district where most of the curriculum is outdated, serviceable and missing manipulative tools for the students to use. I serve a highly diverse student population within my classroom that includes ESL and Special needs students. Please help me attain the supplies that my students desperately need to reach their academic goals. Thank you for your support!
We are going into our 4th year of homeschooling. So, in the fall we'll have an 8th, 6th, 4th, & 1st grader. That means 4 different grade levels, personalities, & learning styles. The kids really love math & science and really anything that involves STEM. It would be great to win our wish list to set up our classroom with more STEM curriculum!
We are a homeschooling tribe with soon to be 6 little learners. We have been schooling with various things we locate over the internet, but to have a set classroom would be amazing!
The Tribal Learners are:
Reggie Lee (the baby)
Please vote for us so we can continue to thrive and strive for greatness!!!!!
We work with AMAZING students with autism who are super heroes in our classroom every day! These tools will help our super heroes grow and learn about their world through their senses. It will also help these students learn how to adapt and find some sense in their daily environment. Materials will be shared with 4 classrooms serving students ages Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Ry is a very active and twice exceptional learner. He is asd and spd. We have been homeschooling this year in order to keep him engaged and to run with his obsessions. We would love to have a great amount of learning tools for him. Right now most of what we have is free downloads and he really could use this. I will be adding to his wish list as I go please vote for us.
I'm a first grade teacher. It is imperative for our students to have access to technology. Many times 15-20 devices are shared between multiple classrooms and they are not available. I'd like to equip my classroom with electronic devices so that my students will always have access to them . Please vote to give my students the best chance to be ready for their future education. Thank you!
I love teaching young minds and planting the seeds of love for learning. Not only is the teacher important but what we offer our children. A great classroom could really feed their interest in learning.
I work at Frederick Douglass Elementary in Overtown. I would like to win this prize to give my students a space to forget about their troubles at home. A place that is well decorated and clean. A place where everything is taken care for them. A class and community that serves as their safe haven.
We are new to homeschooling, we have four children. At this point I am creating a curriculum of my own for my children; that span three different grade levels, with free tools I find online. $10,000 would allow us to be able to purchase manipulatives credible second language, and music curriculum, also books and supplies for our program. This would make a huge difference in our children's lives.
Hi! I am a homeschool mom of two precious boys. We are a one income family and it would be wonderful to be able to win some great educational resources for our homeschool. I also run a homeschool group in my community and it would be wonderful to share these resources with the other families by staring a lending library.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for voting for us! We are a very rural Title 1 school in Missouri and appreciate your vote! Our funding is scarce and our school is located in a hamlet so community partners are hard to find as well, so every little thing helps!
Teaching children with Autism has been such a rewarding career. The students have taught me how to view each child as an individual and not just a student. I continue to grow as an educator and a person each day. Remember: Autism is different NOT less!
I would love for you to support me and help me get my wishlist.I teach Spanish to almost 700 students in Chesterfield, VA. I always try to change my lessons every year and that list will make it possible.
Thank you for your votes.
I love being a homeschool Mom, 14 years of it now :) I have some pretty fun items in my EduCents wishlist: the whisper phone & toobaloos for reading practice during quiet times, all the Magformers sets they have (my kids fell in love with these a few years ago at a local childrens museum and would love to have all these sets!), the anti-coloring book, guitars, and more!
Teachers need to get students excited about learning again, and re- interested in learning. Having a classroom filled with new products that incorporate learning, and gets the students involved in their own learning will help achieve this process.
Motivating the Unmotivated Readers!
How can you say no to a great book if your room is filled with them? A classroom library assorted with areas to read and stuffed animals and special furniture just for the readers. Who wouldn't want to read? My passion is to find that just right book for each student. I would love to create the perfect atmosphere for them.
My desire is to pass on rich, sensory ed. tools & experiences like those that teachers provided me. If we win, tools & resources, would go to enrich the ed. of my kids & materials would be also passed on to others in the community for their students. Educents has amazing resources to benefit both home & public school students & tools will be available for both! Thank you!
I am a homeschooling mom! I have 3 kids and we also work with a co-op! To afford us this ability I do not work, we would love to win this contest, because any help we can get educationally, we will take!! Vote for us!! And THANKS SO MUCH if you do!!!
I work at a great high needs school that doesn't have the funding that we need for the courses that I teach. I want to give my students the best experience I can and this funding could help me do that. Vote for my students to have the best education they can! :)
I am the Educational Technology Coordinator at my school and love watching the students and teachers learn and do with technology. I am always looking for new challenges and ways to incorporate technology.
I love my job, my school and the families I work with. I work with K-8th grade kidos for before and afterschool at ER Martin School. This is such an awesome opportunity. Please vote for me - $10,000 will make a huge impact in supporting our student's learning. Thanks for your votes!! :-)
I am a STEM teacher at a Title One school in rural Arizona. Our school is in its first year of a three year transition to becoming a full STEM Academy. We are in need of STEM materials to fill our STEM library so that all of the teachers at our school will have the materials they need to do STEM projects in their classrooms.
This is our chance to build the Homeschool classroom that we've always wanted and dreamed of that would leave our studies Limitless!
This opportunity would carry all 5 children most of the way through an above average High School education so that our financial resources could be focused on supplemental extracurricular activities!
There would be no limiting their personal curiosity fulfillment!
We are just finishing our first year of homeschooling and it was the best decision we ever made for our son. He struggled in school with learning disabilities, anxiety and just falling though the cracks. Now I can teach him in the ways that he learns best - with a hands-on approach. It has been amazing to see how far he has come in the first year and we look forward to the future!
EXTRA, EXTRA, EXTRA-read it first here-PLAY is IMPORTANT TOO We are often times so focused on testing, data, and test scores that play is neglected. I will use the carefully selected items to support and encourage open-ended, hands-on play! My children want to PLAY and need these items to help facilitate a new hands-on learning experience.
We are hoping to get help giving Zechariah the best home school opportunities we can. Zech is 11 and has special needs which right now means home schooling is our best option. Unfortunately some of the wants and needs are outside of our budget.
Thank you so much for your consideration and your vote!!
Hi, my name is Tim and I'm an online ESL (English as a Second Language ) teacher. The majority of my students are from Taiwan and Russia. I will be moving to China this Fall to teacher English there and winning this contest will help me buy items for my students in rural China. Thanks!
My students deserve more. Each year our school budget gets less and less. I want my students to come to school feeling loved, comfortable and safe. My classroom is a home away from home. For some it's the only place they feel safe. Please help me help my students!
After 13 years in the same building teaching early childhood special needs children , I am having to move to another building. All the supplies I have acquired throughout the years must stay in the building, hence starting over. These items will assist in making a fresh start and enhance my new early childhood special education preschool program.
My name is Liz M and I am the proud owner and operator of Serious Fun Childcare. We are a licensed center for children ages 0-12. I'm just one member of a team of amazing professionals who work hard every day to provide learning opportunities in all areas of development for our students.
Please help us win our wishlist to provide our students with these fun, educational activities!
I absolutely see the need and positive impact creative learning spaces have on our student's learning and achievement. I’ve removed the teacher desk, creating spaces led by student choice and involving the students in the design process- taking the time to actually ask students how they learn best. I would love opportunity to purchase quality products.
I’m a 1st grade teacher with a goal to set-up a Maker Space at my K-6 school. Our students love to design, create, and learn through hands-on activities. They need a special place where they can come in to plan, collaborate, build, engineer, problem solve, and be creative. Please vote for me to make my dream a reality. Our students are awesome kids who truly deserve this experience. Thank you!
Hello! I am a first year teacher in a special education classroom with 7 darling little students. I have limited supplies within my classroom and a lot of my current supplies belong to another teacher who will take them back at the end of the school year. I need a collection of small, reproducible items to large, reusable items. Please help me be prepared to educate my sweet kids!
I run a Reggio-inspired early childhood development center in Park Ridge, New Jersey called The Valley School. I have always loved using a hands-on approach in the classroom, allowing for the children and teachers to experience things together and learn at the same time.
Hi, Please help me provide quality education to children by voting for me. I enjoy inspiring students to learn. Meeting the academic needs of every student brings me joy. My wish list contain valuable resources, that will enhance student learning. Please help and vote for me. I would love to win funding for a dream classroom.
I am a 2nd Grade Teacher at a Title 1 School in Fayetteville, NC. I have a wonderful group of students, who are very eager young learners. I want to provide the best education possible for them, during their second grade year.
I absolutely LOVE Educents! I have homeschooled my children for 13 years now, graduated 3 children and have 3 to go. I'm so thankful for Educents. They have so many freebies that you could literally homeschool for free. I bought Times Tales from them and my children ages 11, 9, and 5 all learned their times tables in no time! I would love to win my wishlist!!
I am an ECE just starting out my career. My class is full of wonderful children, but there are different needs of the children that we can not always meet, because we do not have the tools. By winning this contest, these deserving children will get new tools to play and learn with. We will also be able to set up a quiet sensory corner. Thank You.
I am an ESOL teacher in the Rochester City School District. My students travel to us from difficult places, many of them are refugee students. They come from diverse backgrounds, and traumatic situations but they never seem to let this get in their way. They are the most resilient, humble, kind, appreciative and loving students any teacher could ever have. I am humbled by them everyday!
Hi! I am a mother of 4 great children and we are a home school family. My children are very curious and love absorbing new information. We would really like to provide our learning area with educational interactive activities and resources as we continue our educational journey.
In this day and age of testing, testing and more testing, I try to squeeze in activities that are developmentally appropriate for my kindergarten friends. I believe that it is so important to create a love of learning at this age. If we can make that happen, then they will be more successful. Help me get the hands on materials that our schools will not purchase for us anymore!!!
Hi! My name is Katie Saunders. I am a teacher in Greenville, SC. I teach a Primary Multiage class made up of 1st and 2nd graders.
