Our students need to have updated technology. Our students learn with hands-on activities. I would like to have 2 smart boards, colored printer and Ipads for our students. The color computer with cartridges is needed as our curriculum comes off the program online. Please help me in giving the best education for our special education population, they need to have the opportunity to learn.
I am a catholic school teacher teaching 4th and 5th grade science and social studies. I feel so blessed each day I go into work and have a wonderful group of students. It will be extremely helpful to provide the students with a classroom learning environment they deserve. I can integrate more center work, hands on learning activities and broaden my classroom library.
Please Vote for me. I would at an alternative school and I want to provide career and college readiness programming to these students to help unleash their potential. I want them to know that they too can go to college and be successful.
MY CLASS IS A FAMILY! :D Teaching in a combined classroom for the first time; 2nd/3rd grade, has been a new challenge for me, but the hardest part is keeping students engaged in independent learning time while I work with other students. With lack of funding, I find myself spending more to make my classroom what I envisioned. My dream is to keep the fun flowing for those independent learners! :)
Developing and growing a Montessori classroom is a never ending expense. Our students would love more access to science experiments. Your vote can help us reach our goal to grow the generation of scientist!
We are a new homeschooling family. If we won I would use the curriculum to teach my child and many others. I would also help many families that are in the same financial need as my family.by voting for me you will be helping more families than just mine. These programs and books will be used in co-ops.
Thank you for every vote,
I am graduating on May 1st and its my birthday! In my first career I was a kindergarten teacher assistant of 15 years and stepped up to get my teaching degree. I have a passion for teaching and guiding children on their own path of their choosing. I would love to be the winner to help me start my classroom and a wonderful career in teaching!
3 years ago a dream of providing a Liberal Arts education for the young became a reality. The St. Therese Classical Academy was born. It has been a beautiful journey. I have grown as an educator and have learned that there is no limit to what a student can learn. As an instructor of Lit, Math, Music , Latin, Logic, Italian, I realize there is also no limit to what we as teachers can impart!
I am a special education teacher in San Jose. I have wonderful middle school students who have skills as low as 1st grade and as high as grade level, and English language learners who are just learning English . I would love to win these great classroom supplies and materials. My students would be so happy that they had new things that were current! Thank you!
I am homeschooling both of my daughters. Winning would give them opportunities they otherwise wouldn't get. My youngest daughter has Sensory Possessing disorder and I have added lots of items for her that would help her throughout our day. For my oldest daughter I have added music items since she has been asking to learn an instrument.
Thank you for your consideration.
My special needs would so benefit from these items. Their levels and needs are so diverse that I is difficult to get the materials necessary for them to really achieve and succeed. Please help me to help them?
Thank you for your votes (*_*)
I have taught for 28 years and plan on 10 more! Nothing is more rewarding than watching a child learn something new or them being comfortable enough to start calling you "Mommy" without even realizing it. My school is a low income school. My kindergarten students have often never attended preK or daycare. Readiness skills often need to be learned before the K curriculum can even be started.
We are a close homeschooling family who lives in Gaspe trying to build our own self sustaining home and garden with no help. We are adding a classroom to our home this year and this would really help to add to the room . It would be wonderful to have so many new items to add to a new room.
I don't think there has been a better day to date than when I accepted my first position as a First Grade Teacher at Binks Forest Elementary. Voting for me is voting for my students. The students who strive each daily to reach their highest potential, the students that know that a good mix of a good education, kindness, and a sense of humor can take you very far.

I'm a homeschooling mom of two boys ages 8 and 6. I am also pregnant with our 4th child and I am struggling with ESRD (end stage renal disease) and have been on dialysis for four years. Homeschooling has been the best option for us due to my boys learning styles and personalities but it can be costly. Winning this contest would help us out greatly and remove at least one of the financial burdens.
I teach a small, self contained classroom with grades K-6 of Exceptional Children who fall in a behavior spectrum of some sort (often with other challenges as well). I give 110% to my class, and often a large portion of my salary as well. I would love to enrich my class' learning with wonderful supplies.
My students mean ALOT to me and there's nothing more rewarding than giving them a quality education through various strategies and activities.
Please vote for our class so that I may continue to provide "our students" the necessities needed to work hard in receiving a great education.

I'm working as a behavior therapist and a teacher to kids with developmental delays, ASD and ADHD and I believe that toys, when used in an interactive, positive and fun way, are among the best tools in helping all children grow intellectually, socially and emotionally. SO please help me help these extraordinary students to become the empowered individuals they're ought to be by sending a vote. :)
I'm a single, homeschooling mom to two fabulous girls, with very different needs. One has severe cognitive, speech and language delays due to Down Syndrome, one has some tough sensory issues. It would be amazing to have everything funded for our learning for the next few years. Thank you for voting!
Next year I am moving to being a Science/STEM teacher for 4th grade. We are trying to invoke creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. By having all of the resources necessary I think we can bring those aspects to life. I thank you in advance for your vote.
Hi! My name is Katie Saunders. I am a teacher in Greenville, SC. I teach a Primary Multiage class made up of 1st and 2nd graders. I love finding resources on Educents and would absolutely LOVE to have my wishlist funded. My wishlist is made up of items not only for myself and my co-teacher but also items that could be utilized by our school as a whole. Thanks so much!
More and more children are coming to school with sensory and learning needs and I would love to update my special education tool kit. Education and students are always changing and for me to keep up and better serve my students I need fresh educational tools, activities, and ideas. This wish list would help me so much to continue helping my students make huge progress during the school year.
I am a special education teacher for grades K-3. We have a tight budget so there is not a lot of room to buy items for my classroom. I would love to have something good and positive to happen this year for myself and my students.
I absolutely LOVE Educents! I have homeschooled my children for 13 years now, graduated 3 children and have 3 to go. I'm so thankful for Educents. They have so many freebies that you could literally homeschool for free. I bought Times Tales from them and my children ages 11, 9, and 5 all learned their times tables in no time! I would love to win my wishlist!!
Homeschooling 3 kids for 2 year now, kids are 11,9,7 if we were to receive a wonderful opportunity such as this we will pass along items we are finished with.
With 3 different ages it can sometimes be a challenge to keep them interested in the core subjects but I do what I can. My list has things that will benefit our children and update resorses and organize or space.
Thank you for the vote!
I need votes to win lots of cool stuff for my classroom. My students are all at risk but are also at a school that is challenging them academically to break the poverty cycle in their lives. Please help me help them by voting for my wishlist. You can vote every day from now through May 6.
My son was born with a cleft palate in 2010. When John was 3 months old his father died. He has gone through 7 surgeries in his life. Due to his cleft palate I knew there would be some speech issues so I started to show my son baby bumble bee and baby Einstein videos when he was a baby. This was the start of my Homeschooling John. John is now 6 and very inquisitive.
Hi! We are a homeschooling family. We are almost done with our second year of homeschooling and we love it! Educents has so many amazing products that we can use in our classroom. Our current goals are to expand our library and focus on art and music. There are so many fun activities and resources that we can add to our homeschool. Please vote and help us win our dream classroom!
I am a parent of a 1st grader and 4th grader. Their teachers could use anything from new desks, computers, product for the kids. Their school is a small public school, with many of lower income families. The teachers end up spending a lot of their own income on their students. These teachers have a ton of heart and soul! They would be Thrilled to have some extra money to spend on their students!
Hi, I'm Mrs. G:). (www.BuildingBrilliantMindsOnline.com.) For the first time, I am teaching my project-based learning courses in a physical "school" beginning in fall 2016. If you can take a minute to vote for us we would really appreciate it! We would love to win and stock our classroom for next year. There are so many fun things we want to learn about and would love to have these supplies to make it easier. Games, videos, and hands on experiments make learning more fun and it sticks with the kids when they do it themselves. Thank you!
I homeschool two of my children ages 11 and 7. We moved to Honduras in 2007 and in 2011 began our homeschool journey. Having some funds to fill in the gaps we experience living abroad would be so wonderful! I would like to add things to our school to enhance their learning. Specifically for science, technology and hands on learning.
I am a teacher in a very small school (2 teachers in each level) and we are trying to make a difference in every child's life. Since we do not have art or music, I would love to be able to get these supplies so that we can use them in the classroom. I would also like to be able to add a few more math and literacy items to our toolbox.
I can help NUMEROUS families in need if I win. My nonprofit, HomeschoolFree.org, helps over 11,800 homeschool families in financial need nationwide. My heart goes out to every one of the members who request help with curriculum needs. If I win, I WILL SHARE 100% OF MY WINNINGS with those families who need help the most, in the most dire of circumstances. I am the organization's founder.
Mom of 6...teacher to so many beautiful babies!! I am in year 3 of my teaching career. My students and parents are my life! I live in a small, close community with limited resources in my district. Our future depends on today's learners. Vote for me so I can brighten today's young minds!
My students deserve a classroom where they can learn Spanish and have fun doing so. I want my classroom to be a place where students are fired up about learning and who knows, maybe it will be the place where a student discovers his or her own life passion.
Homeschooling my child is my most important goal for the next 10 years. If it takes a bit longer than so be it, but I want the best education system that will help her succeed in real life as school was difficult for her to thrive in.
I'm moving from 1st grade to K! I'd like to have alternative seating like pillows, yoga type balls, peddle desks, tall tables for standing, low tables for sitting on the floor, scoop rockers, bean bags, cushions & other seating to meet kid's learning styles. I want to provide educational toys and games to make learning fun! Vote for me to help make a great 1st impression of school! Please share!
I am an ECE just starting out my career. My class is full of wonderful children, but there are different needs of the children that we can not always meet, because we do not have the tools. By winning this contest, these deserving children will get new tools to play and learn with. We will also be able to set up a quiet sensory corner. Thank You.
I am a home school mama on a very tight budget. Since my husband had a stroke in June of last year everything as been very tight. My kids do attend a virtual school called connections academy. But on the side to help them I do my own homeschooling. There is still alot I need to make my homeschooling room a dream come true.
We would love to grow our classroom! We are finishing up our first year of homeschooling & could use so much more materials. We began homeschooling last year as my son was having difficulties & the school was no help. We have since have discovered that he has some disabilities. Because of this we are not going to return him to public school, & really want to give him a fantastic education at home.
I a woman with a disability that allows me to be at home, however I find it important to teach my children at home while earning a degree to teach more children with disabilities. This winning could enable me to give my students more adequate teaching tools and materials and give me an edge to teaching my sons who struggle with reading to excel. Thanks and God bless:D
We are just starting out on this Homeschool adventure (we've been at it for just over a year), and we have a long way to go. I absolutely love teaching these girls at home, but the curriculum, materials and supplies can get pretty expensive. It would be terrific to win some of these great resources to help me out. You can vote every day to increase my chances of winning. Thanks!
My classroom is the school library. This space serves the entire school. Here students create in a MakerSpace, & seek out quiet work areas with comfortable seating for reading. Students collaborate on technology as they learn to navigate digital content & print resources. My dream space would accommodate all needs & create an open, inviting atmosphere that benefits all students.
Always looking for ways and supplies to help improve my teaching and my students' learning. This can be an incredibly expensive endeavor, as many of you know. So, please help me achieve my goals by voting for my wishlist to be funded.
Thank you so very much!
Please vote for my classroom to win. My students are the most deserving group of children; they challenge me and themselves everyday and I am proud to stand before them as their teacher. Were a military family who have chosen to homeschool since we tend to be on the road a lot. We have 4 children between the ages of 8 and 1 and each of them have their own way of learning. We work hard to make sure our kids get what they need but like so many, this give away would help SO very much with our education.
Please take a second to vote for me so that I can continue to enrich the lives of others. Teaching requires the most education for the least amount of pay. While I would love to just keep buying things for my students to help them learn, the reality is I need my hard earned dollars to support my own kids who are in college. So please vote!
I am a dedicated 8th grade social studies teacher who loves this crazy profession! I am committed to creating the next generation of globally conscious citizens and future voters. The students that I have today in social studies class will decide your fate and mine tomorrow!

I am a homeschooling mama to 7 awesome kids. Four of my children had a difficult start in life before they were mine, and as a result have multiple, severe learning disabilities. We are a homeschool family about to wrap up our second year! My son has really flourished! He has been asking to learn Spanish and how to play the piano. Winning this contest would allow us to get online Spanish lessons as well as a piano lesson curriculum. And enough Math and Science curriculum to last us a few years - which would be a relief to have taken care of!
My husband and I are working to set up a school for our kids, and our friends kids, so they can learn in a setting like we did, with more hands on education and less standardized tests (as few as possible!)

Our school Lady of Grace Preschool is a community-serving institution, one of the few in the area that combines a strong Christian foundation with high-caliber academics. We count on our community for support; we are not a state-funded institution. We would be delighted to earn the support of others to continue to expand our academic offerings for many years to come.

Winning these supplies can allow them to reach their fullest potential.
This past year we have had some financial setbacks. In trying to change life for the better we have moved in with my husband's family. My children are really excited about the opportunity and possibility of winning a lot of awesome hands on tools. This would make for an amazing couple of years! Thanks!

My classroom isn't typical --my kids climb trees, stomp in puddles, play with worms, and take apart clocks as a practical way to explore their world. That is the life of a homeschooler, and if I win this contest, a portion of the winnings will go to the Westman Homeschool Connection for their lending library and the rest towards classroom/play area upgrades.

I have been a teacher for 21 years. I have always worked in title 1 schools. Each year we have to prioritize what we can buy and always put off the "extras" until we get a donation or I just spend my own money. That still only provides a little bit more, not everything the children should have. I would love to provide my students with as much as they deserve - the world!
I am passionate about students becoming all that they can be, no matter their circumstances. I want to give them experiences they will always cherish in our classroom. After 13 years in the same building teaching early childhood special needs children , I am having to move to another building. I have noticed that when they are doing activities like build blocks they seem to learn more, than when you give them a piece of paper to learn from. This puts their imagination to work

Being able to mold the minds of my students to the bright side of thinking it what I tend to do best. I love to lift my students into their search for information. I love when my students win awards sure. Each loss isn't a loss but a new way of thinking outside of the box. Sometimes it's harder for others to be on the same page as you but don't let that change who "you" are as a person.

Learning happens in playtime!
Our school is considered a neighborhood school and many of our students live near the school. We have a large homeless population of students and families who are seeking in school and after-school opportunities for their children. It is our goal to offer as many enriching experiences as possible. We are considered a Title I school with a not so great ABC grading score. Help us reach our goals!
Thank you for your consideration in voting for my class! My school is in a low economic are and we do not qualify for Title 1 funds. We also do not have a wealthy population to donate funds to our school. Winning our dream classroom would be a beginning for my students to be on equal footing as their peers in our town/district. Thanks again for your consideration.
As a homeschooling single income family we could always use any help we can find to help with teaching resources! My homeschool is not just within the home either, I help teach a couple groups of amazing and intelligent homeschool kids that could use all the resources we can get our hands on. This is a great opportunity!
Motivating the Unmotivated Readers!
How can you say no to a great book if your room is filled with them? A classroom library assorted with areas to read and stuffed animals and special furniture just for the readers. Who wouldn't want to read? My passion is to find that just right book for each student. I would love to create the perfect atmosphere for them.
These little people are the reason that school has been an amazing journey.
While not every day starts with smiles, we enjoy learning in an atmosphere that builds on our strengths and strengthens our weaknesses.
We have lots of learning before us with our journey in homeschooling just starting.
Help us provide these (and any additional) kiddos with environment filled with what they need!
I work as a lead teacher in a preschool classroom. I work hard to provide my students with the most enriching learning experiences I can offer on my limited budget. My kiddos are bright, active and love to sing, dance and be creative. Every day I see them growing and becoming more school ready. I truly care about giving my class the best I can every day.
