The Power of Markets contains 80 minutes of video broken into 16 segments and covers microeconomic concepts.
The segments are grouped into five main categories. The video segments and lessons compares and contrasts resource allocation based on market decisions and the effects of government regulations. Are intentions more important than effects? This DVD encourages critical thinking. Included on the DVD is a comprehensive instructor's manual, a test bank of multiple choice questions, and a slideshow presentation.
For each of the 16 video segments, the instructor's guide provides a list of concepts covered, lesson objectives, a brief description of the video, a preview question to help introduce the video segment, discussion and analysis questions, and an extension activity.
