About Singapore Math
We established Singapore Math Inc.® (formerly Singaporemath.com Inc®) in 1998 with the mission to bring high quality Singapore mathematics books to the American market. Our story began when we moved back to the U.S. from Singapore, where our daughter attended local schools through the first grade, and were dissatisfied with the quality of math materials used at her new elementary school. We decided to supplement her schoolwork with the series of math books that she used in Singapore. Our company was built on our belief that schools and homeschoolers across the country should have

    Wide variety

This book is nowhere near as colorful and engaging as the ones we have for lower grades, but the flip side is, it seems like there is a lot more content and practice problems. Topics include rounding, mult./div., fractions (adding/subtracting, mixed numbers, improper fractions), Tables & graphs, and some geometry.

I have been using this with my son for a few months now and we enjoy it. He is in first grade, we are working on adding. I also have the teacher's guide to go along with this, which I feel is very helpful. There are lots of colorful pictures on every page and lots of opportunity to discuss different ways of looking at a problem. This book teaches more how to think about problem solving vs just practicing. If you are looking for a workbook with tons of practice, this is not it. But if you are looking for something that is fun and in-depth, give this a shot

My daughter selected this math workbook. We are strengthening some weak points in her math knowledge base. It has a good format which helps her.

This math curriculum was a good pace for my K5er, with colorful pictures, and not an overwhelming amount of work. Some of the activities were meant for a classroom, which meant getting a bit creative with the work, but overall it was a great choice for my kids

The textbook and workbooks from Singapore Math is colorful and fun for my kindergarten kids. They enjoy the pictures as they work on the math. After being done with each section, you can be creative and cut it apart for hands-on practice.
