Looking for a fun way to integrate tech and bring learning to life for your students? This set of task cards are not your ordinary task cards- they contain Augmented Reality embedded in each card so that students can self-check their work! Especially great for ELL or SpEd learners. There are 17 adding fractions problems and 1 recording sheet in this set. Also included is an "I'm stuck!" graphic that brings up a video showing how to solve similar problems.

For those who don't wish to break out the technology, I've also included answer cards so that students can self-check the old-fashioned way, without the need for a device. If you do feel like integrating technology, students can self-check using the Aurasma app.

This can be used in a variety of ways from center work, to partner work to individual early-finisher work. Suggestions for use are included within.

I am currently an ESOL coach for my district, working with both ESOL and mainstream teachers to help them differentiate and improve the quality of their instruction for English language learners. I currently work in Maryland, but spent several years teaching in North Carolina, and I completed my student teaching in Tennessee as well. During my career, I have worked with students in grades K-8, though most of my attention has been focused on the upper grades, 4-8. I have been invited to Busan, S. Korea, twice to conduct 2 week teacher training seminars on Content Based English Instruction for English language learners, and I am SIOP trained. In addition, I also lead numerous Continuing Professional Development courses, workshops, and focus groups for teachers in my district. In addition to my MS, I also have a BA degree in Spanish and Mass Communications.
