Just a great way to fill in gaps for a student coming from a different program. A great balance of different problems so your child isn't doing the same style of problems over and over.

Math has been a struggle until now!

My daughter has been struggling in math for a few years now, but we were having trouble identifying her gaps and finding a way to address them. This curriculum has been so helpful in both of these areas. Showing her the reasons behind what she’s doing has really helped her make connections. Thank you so much!!

Love This Curriculum - Visit the Website for Help!

I highly recommend having your student take a placement test from the Math Mammoth website before deciding which level to start. The curriculum is technically common core aligned, but in most topics goes more in-depth than a lot of choices. You can go back a level, or just purchase the topic that seems to need a little extra work. You can also email the author your finished placement test and she will help you figure out what you need to start with. We love this curriculum for many reasons. Everything you need is all right there in the student worktext. It is written to the student, but I find it useful to sit with my child while she does her math to answer any questions she has and encourage her. The curriculum is in-depth and focuses on mastering concepts and really understanding how to apply the math to everyday situations. There are lots of word problems. The Math Mammoth website is an amazing help. There are videos for almost every lesson, and lots of extra free resources for if you find your student struggling in an area. This is a program that teaches well enough for every student, and is strong enough for gifted students. It will prepare them well for any curriculum you want to choose for high school.
