My 6 year old son had no want to learn math. He could do it if he wanted to. This learning game opened the flood gates. Now he wakes talking about numbers and goes to bed asking about numbers. We incorporate this game with the Montessori materials in our homeschool setting.
I have 7 grandkids, ages 10 months old to 8 years old. I bought these as Christmas presents and have played the 5+ one with my two Kindergarteners. They both enjoyed it. I found one of them who excels in math more, to be more apt to learn with the 7+ game, as it opens up the concept of multiplication and division, while the 5+ game reinforced the adding and subtracting skills needed of the other child. It was fun and encouraged problem solving skills. One of my daughter in laws has already been using it as a fun learning tool. Thank you for the opportunity to help shape these young minds.
My kids are in different grades and so they are on different math levels. They can play this game together because the game challenges them differently. Plus it's lots of fun - the rare game that is both educational and enjoyable!
