These adorable animal themed problem solving posters will help your students remember the different strategies they can use to solve problems. Each animal has an easy to remember name. Such as "Funky Monkey" and "Give it a go Flamingo".

Posters are included for 8 different common problem solving strategies: Act it out, Guess and Test, Draw a Picture, Use a Model, Work Backwards, Look for a Pattern, Make a Chart/Table, Use a Simpler Problem.

I have also included some great kid themed posters for students to use when they are stuck. My students use these all the time when they are not sure how to approach a problem.

Welcome to the Emmy Mac Shop! I'm so excited to be part of such a great site. My name is Emily. I am a first grade teacher from Ontario, Canada. I have been teaching for over 10 years now. I have taught everything from grade 8 to kindergarten...but my one true love is grade 1. I am the mother of two little girls. My oldest daughter is in grade 3 and my youngest is in grade 1. Watching them grow and learn has helped me as a teacher. I really strive to make learning fun!
