There's a "Whole Lotta Silliness Going On" in these five literacy centers! All of the centers include a cover sheet and recording sheet. You will get the following in this file:
Silly Rhymes: Students match the rhyming words in a classic concentration game. This is in color and black and white.
Silly Word Match Ups: Students match the words to the pictures in this puzzle piece activity. There are two sets of these to use.
Silly Sentences: Students build six different sentences and record them on the recording sheet. These are in color and black and white.
Silly Nouns and Verbs: Students sort the word cards into nouns and verbs and use them to write a silly story, underlining then nouns in one color and verbs in another.
Silly Words: Students sort words into the categories of words or nonsense words. There are three sets of these cards: CVC, CVCe, and digraphs for differentiation.

About the Seller
A wife, a mother, a reading specialist!
I graduated from Longwood College in 1997 and spent the first 14 years of my career as an educator in third and fourth grade classrooms. I loved teaching children, but my passion has always been with teaching reading.
I graduated from the University of Virginia with my Masters in Reading in May 2010 and waited patiently for the moment when I could do what I do most and help struggling readers learn to read! In 2011, that dream came true! Now I spend my days as a reading specialist working with students in Kindergarten through fifth grade as they learn to overcome reading difficulties and work to become stronger readers.
In 2012, I began my blogging journey where I highlight books, ideas, and my days in the classroom. You can visit my blog Reading Toward the Stars to learn more about my life as a reading specialist.
