Product Description

Alphabet letter tiles to use in making words lessons and other phonics/literacy based activities.

These letter tiles go perfectly with my Making Words lessons!  Each student needs a complete set.  I advise you to store them by letter, not by set.  For example, you may wish to keep all the A's in a baggie, all the B's in another, and so forth.  Then, when you prep for your activity, you will know that each student needs 1 A, 1 T and 1 E and you can grab those letters for your lesson.

I've stored these letters in sewing/bead boxes that have separate compartments.  Other teachers have used fishing boxes or baseball card holders stored in a binder.  Whatever system works best for you!

Hi! Thanks for dropping in!  I love what I do, and am so excited to share my products with you!  I have been teaching for 14 years, all in grades 1-5.  This year, I've had the unique opportunity to teach a section of 7th grade Reading Comprehension and English.  I was a bit unsure when I began, but absolutely love it now.  Let's see, I have my Master's degree in Elementary Education with a focus in reading, as well as my National Boards Certification in Middle Childhood Generalist.  I'm a teacher consultant with the National Writing Project.  My products all represent my perspective of education: engaging, rigorous and fun!
