There are two types of literacy centers included and each one has two different versions for differentiation between ability level.
Print, laminate and cut out the cards and place in a literacy center. When scanned, the QR code produces an image of a short e CVC word. Students can use a dry erase marker on the cards and/or the corresponding recording sheets.
"Code" It Out Sentences- Students read the sentences (composed of high frequency words as well as decodable CVC words) and scan the QR code to complete the sentence. Version 1 has letter boxes to assist in spelling the CVC word. Version 2 does not have the letter boxes.
"Code" It Out CVC Words- Students simply scan the QR code and write the corresponding CVC word to match the image. Version 1 has letter boxes to assist in spelling the CVC word. Version 2 does not.
2 versions of the recording sheet- Version 1 includes the image of the CVC word. You can also use this version alone as a morning work activity, quick assessment, etc. Version 2 only has the letter boxes.
