This file contains fraction cards with directions to use them in 4 different workstations. Student will practice identifying, ordering, comparing, and finding equivalent fractions. Directions to the workstations are included and posted below.

1. Memory-Copy on card stock and laminate. Place all of the cards face down. Students take turns turning over 2 cards at a time. If the student makes a match, they get another turn. If they didn't make a match, play passes to the next person. Matches are made by matching the fraction picture to the numeral form exactly (not in simplest form).

2. Sorting- Copy pictures on card stock and laminate. Students sort the fractions into the correct column by matching it's equivalent or reduced form. If you laminate the workmat, students can write/draw a picture of the fraction on the workmat. For advanced students, they can do the same activity with the number cards instead of the pictures.

3. Ordering- Copy on card stock and laminate the fractions. Place cards in a can or box. Students draw out 3 cards and put them in order from least to greatest. (Workmat provided) For advanced students, they can do the same activity with the number cards instead of the pictures.

4. Comparing-Copy on card stock and laminate the fractions. Students draw 2 fractions and put in the correct sign on the workmat.

Student's can record their answers on the corresponding student response sheets. There is a response sheet for each workstation activity.
