There are 13 activities included and most of them include different levels for differentiation or extra practice. Color, cut and paste activities are much more fun and engaging that your typical worksheet!
This file contains 13 color, cut & paste activities on Place Value and Number Sense. Most activities include different pages to use for differentiation or extra practice. There are 45 student pages (81 total pages which include teacher tips and directions, color versions of some pages and answer keys).
Topics Included: - Odd and Even Numbers - Place Value - Number Forms (Standard, Base-10 Blocks, Expanded Form, Word Form) - Counting to 1000 - Skip Counting by 5s, 10s and 100s - Comparing Numbers
I love learning activities where students color, cut and paste while working on math. Students are much more engaged than when completing pencil and paper worksheets. I find this particularly helpful when I need to keep students working while I am meeting with a small group of students. Also their finished work is perfect for displaying on bulletin boards.
To complete the activities in this packet, students will need access to some standard art materials available in most classrooms: -crayons or colored pencils -scissors -glue or glue sticks -construction paper -sentence strips -stapler
Differentiation Many of the activities in this packet include more than one version. In some cases these pages are at the same level and can provide choices for students or extra practice for those that need it. In other cases, there is a difference in the difficulty of the pages. Different pages or activities can be assigned to different students as a differentiation technique.

About the Seller
Not Your Mother's Math Class
I have over 15 years experience working with elementary aged students. My specialty is making math products.
Math can and should be fun.
Learners need lots and lots of practice with manipulatives and hands-on strategies before they can solve abstract problems.
We need to let children explore concepts and not force them to memorize formulas to solve problems.
