Math journal prompts are so easy to use! Just copy the prompts and cut them out for your student(s).  Next, have your student(s) glue a strip at the top of the page in their composition notebook. He/she will then draw and write to demonstrate understanding of the problem. Journals are an efficient way to keep track of student learning and they are certainly helpful at conference time!

72 pages of Autumn prompts (pumpkins, fall festivals, scarecrows). I like the theme. More importantly, I like Math journals!

Most of my 17 years of experience were spent teaching pre-K and kindergarten. I also have experience teaching up to 3rd grade. I have used my love of reading to develop a set of 30 phonics-based beginning reading books for use in preschool-first grade. In addition, I have developed sets of reading games and math games that can be used in the classroom or as take-home activities and can be adjusted to address various skill levels. I also have a range of hands on, cut-and-glue materials which keep young students engaged. They have proven to be a success in my own classroom and at home with my 3 little ones. I am so excited to share them!
