Martin Luther King, Jr. Math Glyph (8th Grade Common Core)
Martin Luther King, Jr. Math Glyph is an activity where students can hone their abilities in mathematics while putting together a fun art project that you can showcase on your classroom wall. The math problems are designed for students in 8th grade and are aligned with the Common Core standards for the eighth grade.
Please note that this is not a 'goofy glyph' like my other glyphs.
Common Core Standards covered: 8.EE.C.7 8.EE.C.8 8.EE.A.1
At the back of this booklet are templates that your students can use to help design their glyphs; otherwise, they can choose to create their own artwork.
Also, at the back of a book is a graph that you can use to visually see how the students all view different questions from the glyph.
This is a very detailed glyph. Make sure to check out the preview to see if it is good match for your class.
All artwork is original and created by myself.

About the Seller
I homeschooled my own children for seven years which was one of the most rewarding things I have done. I also taught at both the elementary and high school levels. I also taught English as a Second Language for several years at schools in France, Hungary, and Slovakia.
I like to engage students and find creative ways for students to have fun while they are learning. I definitely encourage students to use their creativity and dare to be wrong and try new things in their pursuit of knowledge.
