Product Description

Inspired by my own little one’s desire to set up shop...anywhere – as well as her love for a sweet treat, this little bakery-in-a-box is sure to delight your little entrepreneur. A great set for indulging in some good old-fashioned pretend play as well as expanding vocabulary and the exploring the basics of customer service. This box contains all the ingredients needed to take on the role of small business owner or cookie-lover. After scooping the secret ingredients and mixing them all together, the lid of the box doubles as a cookie sheet to bake little cookie delights to perfection – don’t forget to handle with care (and the oven mitt) as not to burn wee fingers! When they are all done flip them over to find decorative pairs. Set up shop with a festive string of garland. Which flavor will you choose? Chocolate chip, Sprinkles, Icing-topped? There are six different kinds to choose from. If you can’t make up your mind, perhaps sample them all with a friend at the shop – with a cup of cold milk or hot tea. Or package some up to take home with you! This kit includes 4 cookies “sleeves” and 2 cookies “boxes” so that happy customers can go home with a parcel of yummy-goodness to gift and share. Lil Boo’s Bakery prides itself on satisfied customers – what a whimsical way to play in the kitchen this Holiday Season and the whole year through.

    Just like at Grandma's
    Jun 12, 2016

My youngest daughter calls her grandma "Grandma Kitchen", because of their cookie baking escapades (I don't know why it's Grandma Kitchen and not Grandma Cookie).

With this set, my daughter can play like she's at Grandma's, even when she isn't.

Also, I like her to have wooden toys, and ones that encourage creative play.

Mama May I
7 Reviews

Mama May i's handmade learning toys blend the best of developmental psychology and design to offer a unique learning through play experience.

Founder and principle designer, Jessica Perkins, has been creating for as long as she can remember, originally helping her mama with her handmade toy store over 20 years ago. With the birth of her children, and all the new little people in her life, Jessica found herself searching for toys that met her educational and design standards.

Inspired by these little explorers, and her understanding of Montessori and Waldorf methodologies, Jessica Perkins began making all of her creations with the belief that children make sense of their world through sensing their world. After years of making, creating, and gifting her creations to friends and family, Jessica decided to start selling her goodies. Since the launch of Mama May i in 2009, Jessica's passion for artistic expression through toys has blossomed into a business supported by mama's and papa's all over the world.

With this learning through play philosophy in mind, Mama May i encourages kids, both big and small, to dive in, make a splash, a scribble, or an inquisitive fiddle on the memories we share together.
