My kids love Fred. For us, this series is perfect during the summer. It gives them something to read and Math review all at the same time. I've had my son ask if he can do extra lessons!

    great product

Our granddaughter was really struggling with math but loved to read. We started on book A . She loves them!! Her math skills have improved greatly. She still does a regular math book but only about 1/2 or 1/3 of the problems so that I´m sure she understands the work. She went through book K twice because she didn´t get many of the questions right the first time through. She didn´t mind doing the book over and the second time through she needed very little help. She asked us to buy the next set of books. She is 9 years old. I wish I knew about these books when I was teaching my chilren.

Math fun for those who'd rather be reading.

My daughters think Fred is so funny and are working through the lessons without complaint. They'd rather be reading, so math lessons with a lot of story to them hold their interest. We are using these books as a supplement to their homeschool math curriculum.

My daughter and I have loved all of the Life of Fred books, from Apples to Jellybeans! So we look forward to using this book in the upcoming year. Also, I tutor a 5th grader who used this book, and it prepared her so well for prealgebra.

My children used to hate learning math. I used to hate teaching math. We are talking tears people. Not just me, the kids would cry too. :) We have not shed a single tear since switching to Life of Fred.
