Math fun for those who'd rather be reading
    May 04, 2017

My daughters think Fred is so funny and are working through the lessons without complaint. They'd rather be reading, so math lessons with a lot of story to them hold their interest. We are using these books as a supplement to their homeschool math curriculum.

    Math is Made Cool
    Apr 29, 2017

Fred takes a silly story and adds in complex math without making it seem complex. My kids are homeschooled and still use a math curriculum, but it's not a struggle anymore because now they enjoy math. They love reading Life of Fred for fun and we're thrilled to get new books (Liver and Kidney) in their Easter baskets! I love that they are learning and enjoying math!

    Making Math Lovers

The Life of Fred books have a way of telling a story that pulls my kids in so deeply that they almost don't notice the math weaved throughout! The more my kids read Life of Fred the more they enjoy math and see the beauty in it. We love Fred!

    Our Primary Curriculum
    Apr 27, 2017

After using Life of Fred for a few months, we ditched our other (wonderful) curriculum for Fred. I talk to lots of people who use Fred as a secondary math curriculum, but we are using it as our primary curriculum. It is such a solid program; I say that as a former middle school math teacher.
