I actually think this will grasp and hold my daughter's attention. She struggles with the why's to learn math, but LOVES a silly story. I was impressed how much math is discussed even in the lower levels. It will be interesting to see if the few math problems (generally five or less) will be enough to teach the concept. I am hopeful because I know she will be talking about what Fred's up to and want to solve his problems!

My grandson loves the stories. We are new at LOF books so I started him out in the younger grade and he will work his way up to his level. He loves the stories.

My child loves thid series! She can't wait to see what Fred and Kingie are going to do each lesson. She begs to do it. I love how she is learning unique math concepts and not even realizing it. I have learned lots too! This is a great program we use to supplement our regular math curriculum.
