Have fun learning about life cycles with a cute and simple flap book for your student to create! It's a great way to review the stages in the life cycles of a butterfly and a frog. These projects will make a great supplement to your science unit on life cycles!
Students color the cover images, fold the booklet in half, crease, cut on the dashes and glue pieces under the flaps.
The covers name the stages from egg, larva (caterpillar) pupa (chrysalis) to adult butterfly (in the butterfly book), and egg, tadpole, froglet, to adult (in the frog booklet). Beneath each flap is a kid-friendly and easy to read description of each stage. A variety of options for the covers are included, so you can choose the vocabulary that suits your needs.
This item is best suited for first, second and third grade students. Younger children will need help reading the text.
