Levenhuk Rainbow 50L PLUS Azure MicroscopePerfect gift for a biology enthusiast. Experiment kit included. Magnification: 64–1280x.
First experiments, laboratory work, or serious research – modern Levenhuk Rainbow 50L PLUS Azure Microscope comes with a variety of different tasks! The experiment set that comes with the model will be highly useful for beginning biologists. Experienced users will appreciate the excellent technical characteristics of this model. The instrument provides a wide magnification range and is suitable for viewing a huge variety of samples (transparent and opaque). And, of course, we should mention its beautiful and original design – the azure colored microscope would make a wonderful gift for any microcosm enthusiast.
OpticsThe microscope comes with three objective lenses: 4x, 10x, and 40xs. The most powerful lens (40xs) is equipped with a spring mechanism. While focusing, you might accidentally hit the slide with the objective lens – but, even if you do, this special lens will spring back, preventing any damage to the lens or the slide. Moreover, the kit includes a 2x Barlow lens – this lens doubles magnification of the objective lens. The basic kit allows obtaining 64x, 128x, 160x, 320x, 640x and 1280x magnification.
The lenses are made of quality optical glass that doesn't distort the images. The optics have multiple layers of anti reflective coating – the images will always be bright and sharp (image quality is crucial when observing at high magnifications).
IlluminationThe microscope has two built-in LED lights. Lower illumination is needed to observe transparent samples, for example thin slices of animal or plant tissues. To work with opaque samples – paper, coins, cloth – turn the upper illumination on. The microscope is also suitable for observing semi-transparent samples (with both lights). The brightness is adjustable.
Body design and power supplyThe instrument has a reliable metal body – it can be used intensively in school or university laboratories, as well as in medical institutions. To prevent any fatigue during observations, the head is inclined at 45 degrees. It also rotates 360 degrees around its axis – when working in a group turn the head into the desired direction instead of moving the microscope itself.
Illumination runs on AC power, as well as on batteries.
Experiment kitThe Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit has everything needed to make your first step into the microcosm. Beginning researchers can start by observing our ready-to-use microscope slides, and then create their own samples for observations and conduct many interesting experiments. The kit also includes a detailed user guide with useful tips and experiment descriptions.
CaseThe microscope comes in a reliable plastic case, which protects the instrument from dust and mechanical damage.
