Kicking Off Multiplication!
These worksheets are designed to give your students practice with distributive property. Students often struggle with understanding what this property means so I’ve included an “Understanding Distributive Property” sheet to help. You can use this to glue into their math journals, project it to support your teaching, or laminate and place in your classroom for reference.
When using the sheets, have students refer back to the “Understanding Distributive Model” sheet to support their work on each problem. I modeled a few with my students following the step by step model and then let them work on their own. I created the first practice sheets in a way that they would have room to model and draw to solve.
I’ve also included a matching sheet at the end of this product. These are additional pages to help your students practice identify the distributive property for a multiplication problem.

About the Seller
Hi everyone! I'm Pam creator of Teaching 4 Real educational products. I'm so excited you've stopped by my store to look around! I've been a teacher for 16 years and my love for creating products to meet the real needs of my students is what inspired me to open up my store. Text book companies create big curriculum, but it never supports all of my students. So my creations are born from the need to differentiate.
