It's a bird, it's a plane, it's the GREAT GROWING GUMMY BEAR coming to a classroom near you!
Your kids will LOVE experimenting with this beloved candy. Your budding scientists will look very professional as they use the included journal to collect data about the scientific process!
This experiment is a follow up to my FREEBIE Osmosis: Colorful Celery Experiment and to the Vinegar/Egg experiment. This packet contains the most science journaling of the 3 packets and is meant to be the culminating experiment in the Osmosis series. At this point, the students will be the very familiar with the Scientific Process. This journal has been tiered to accommodate the learning that has occurred through the other two experiments.
This experiment will have your students adding plenty of data to their science journals. The students will measure Gummy Bears before putting them in different solutions. (one water, one salt water). The students will make and record observations. They will also re-measure the Gummy Bears and record data.
In a follow-up experiment, the student will take the Gummy Bear from the water and soak it in salt water. Again, they will make observations and record data.
This scientific journal is meant to accompany a Growing Gummy Bear Osmosis experiment in your classroom.
