Product Description

Need a quick and easy ice breaker. My Getting to Know Your Classmates Game is your answer. As the students navigate their way around the gameboard, they will be answering questions about themselves, their feelings toward school, and even a little about things they know. One of the gameboards says "The First Day of School" but I've also included a game board that says "Getting to Know Your Classmates"... just in case you don't get around to playing it on that hectic "First Day of School."

Who's it for?

  •    Teachers that need an icebreaker for their students to get to know their clsssmates.
  • Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, and beyond.

What's Included?

Get to Know Your Classmates Game from Nita Marie’s Classroom Creatios includes:

  • Get to Know Your Classmates Game Board
  • First Day of School Game Board
  • Game card for the Getting to Know Your Classmates Game in the following categories: “All About Me” “I Know That” and “School is Cool” (16 cards in each category{
  • Rules for the Getting to Know Your Classmates Game.
  • Game markers for the Getting to Know Your Classmates Game.
  • Answer Key for the “I Know That” Cards

Note the “Getting to Know Your Classmates” Game board and the “First Day of School” Game Board are the same except for the title. I originally created the “First Day of School” Board, but as a classroom teacher I know that we don’t always get to do everything that we plan on the first day!! So I created the “Getting to Know your students board. This would make a GREAT team building or center activity!

I have been an  elementary school teacher for 16 years!  I'm certified to teach 1st through 8th grade.  Most of my teaching career has been teaching lower elementary.  The last 8 or 9 have been in 2nd grade. This past year, I earned a Technology Facilitator Add On to my teaching certificate.

Seveal years ago, I began selling some of my the items I make for my classroom. I'm totally excited to be trying Educents!  I can't wait to see how it works out.
