This game is for 2 to 4 players and helps students practice reading CVC words and is excellent for working on short vowel sounds. Each player gets a game board with fireworks (as rockets) at the bottom and fireworks (as explosions) at the top. Every time the player reads a word with that short vowel sound they move their marker up the rocket and into the explosion "making the firework go off". The first person to have made all five of their fireworks "go off" wins the game.
