Ask The Seller
Is this for a child going to the 3rd grade? He was previously in 2nd grade gifted.
Asked by a Parent on July 5th, 2016
Thank you for your question. This level would be for a student that has just completed 3rd grade and going into 4th grade. If he has been already working on a 3rd grade level, this product would be appropriate. If not, 2nd to 3rd Grade would probably work better.

when was this published?

Thank you for your question. Daily Summer Activities Moving from 3rd to 4th Grade, EMC 1030, was published in 2005.

Using this as part of our summer studies and the kids love it! I add on group activities, tabletops (manipulative type work) and individual work as I have 4 kids ranging from 5 to 12. I love that part of their studies are already planned out for me!

Great Summer Workbook
Aug 22, 2015
Great workbook. 2 pages per day for 10 weeks that covers spelling, grammar, math, cursive practice, etc. It's not overwhelming for a child to have to do when it is summertime. The only caveat I would add is that if your child is weak in one area, you may want to buy another workbook for that particular area. It seems this book is about retention over the summer and not increasing your child's knowledge in one area. We bought some math workbooks and flashcards since our daughter needed more focus in that area.
