Looking for a fun way for your students to practice key reading comprehension skills? Use these clip cards! Clip cards include a short nonfiction text and 10 different types of comprehension questions. Just use a clothes pin to clip the side with the correct answer!
Each sheet includes 2 Clip Cards (20 cards total). I suggest printing on card stock and laminating for durability and longevity. All you will need to do is cut them apart, draw a small dot on the backs to indicate which side is the correct answer, and place them in a easy access place in your classroom. Students read the text and answer the questions by clipping a clothespin to the side of the card with the answer they think is correct. Once finished answering, they turn the card around and check the dots to see if their answers are correct. Other uses include: quick reading assessments, homework or bell ringer tasks, differentiated tasks.
More Clip Card sets will be coming, so make sure to follow me on Educents to receive updates to my store. I will also be writing a blog post soon about how I use them in my classroom, so be sure to visit and follow me at www.mrshachsowlspot.blogspot.com

About the Seller
The Owl Spot
Hi! Thanks for dropping in! I love what I do, and am so excited to share my products with you! I have been teaching for 14 years, all in grades 1-5. This year, I've had the unique opportunity to teach a section of 7th grade Reading Comprehension and English. I was a bit unsure when I began, but absolutely love it now. Let's see, I have my Master's degree in Elementary Education with a focus in reading, as well as my National Boards Certification in Middle Childhood Generalist. I'm a teacher consultant with the National Writing Project. My products all represent my perspective of education: engaging, rigorous and fun!
