Simple Machines

A simple machine is a mechanical device that changes the direction or weight of a force. They create leverage (a mechanical advantage) by using a lever, wheel and axle, pulley, inclined plane, wedge, or screw.

Simple machines can be regarded as the elementary "building blocks" of which all more complicated machines are built. With the vast products on Educents, your child can learn about force, motion, robotics, and so much more. Simple Machines are a great way to incorporate STEM into your child's learning.
