Back to School: Math Review of Grade 4 Concepts for 5th Graders - CCSS Aligned
This is a GREAT activity for the first weeks of school! Help your fifth graders review key fourth grade math concepts as you teach them how to interact with one another during math.
“Find Someone Who” is a cooperative learning structure that is terrific to get students up and moving, as well as interacting with each other.
This version is Common Core aligned to 4th grade Common Core standards.
In my classroom, we use “Find Someone Who” in many ways:
-As a fun alternative to independent practice -As a review before quizzes -For spiral review of previously learned concepts -Prior to high-stakes testing
Depending on the concept, students may spend 10-30 minutes completing the activity.
An answer key and directions for this cooperative learning structure are included.
Please email me if you have any comments, suggestions, or requests for future versions of "Find Someone Who": email@example.com.
This item is 1 page with a 1-page answer key.
