This packet features an introduction to timelines with an "All About Timelines" poster. Students can practice creating timelines with a timeline of their school day (2 versions). There is also a blank timeline to use for whatever you choose. A pumpkin life cycle timeline provides additional practice.

A simple "All About Me" timeline with 2 choices of parent letters that allow you to assign the timeline as homework or to request information and pictures so that the timeline can be created in class.

There are 2 choices for timelines (could use one for boys and one for girls).

Pages can be printed on colored paper or white and have students color the project. There are also 2 follow up activities in which students will look at each others timelines to gather information and find similarities.

4 Graphing and 2 fill in the blank sheets help students find similarities between themselves and other classmates.

About the Seller

Dirt Road Teacher

I currently teach 2nd grade in a rural, high poverty school. I think I learn as much from them as they learn from me sometimes. Embracing each small gain is a main focus, yet I never lower my expectations of them. High expectations from each and every student is the only way to ensure thier success as students and adults.
