Your little ones will flip over Lift-the-Flap Word Problems! Each set includes a cut-and-paste word problem page, a recording page and manipulatives. There are three addition and three subtraction problem sets. How can you use each set of math lift-the-flap word problems? In any order!

*Invite students to use the manipulatives to explore different solutions to a problem. Next have students record the possibilities on the recording sheets. Finally, a student creates and records her own problem with the cut-and-paste page.

OR

*Use the manipulatives with a guided math group. Record the solution possibilities on the recording sheets. Have each student complete the cut-and-paste page on his own as independent practice.

OR

*Have students complete the cut-and-paste pages first. Next students share their solutions with each other in a small group and record the possibilities on the recording sheets.
