This is a set of 4 worksheet designed to help students develop the skill of decomposing numbers 2, 3, 5, and 6 using 1" construction paper squares in 2 different colors.
Students will create different ways to represent a number, then record the corresponding addition sentence beside each tile creation.
This activity was specifically designed for Common Core standard K.OA.3 (Decompose Numbers less than or equal to 10 into pairs in more than one way and record each decomposition by a drawing or equation)
