Aligned to the 3rd Grade Common Core Standards, this math game includes a football game board, eight different colored footballs, 100 questions that cover nine different standards, four tie breaker questions, and four cards for teachers to create their own problems!
This game is fantastic for math reviews and can be modified in so many ways! Play with a partner, at a math center, or in a group and assign roles such as coach, referee, and players! The player will ask their coach for the number of problems they feel they can answer in one minute. Students will complete as many math problem cards as they can and advance ten yards per correct problem. If they get one wrong, or do not complete their wager in the one minute time frame, it's a fumble, and they go back to their goal line! The first player to march down the field and score a touchdown wins!!! There are even tie breaker (extra point) cards in the case of a tie!
When students have mastered these cards, create your own with my template I have included at the end of the activity! You can also throw in some flash cards for extra computation practice!
This math game is also available for 4th and 5th grade in my store
