Product Description

3 Little Pigs Activities is a collection of themed math and language activities for Pre_K and Kindergarten. Included are play mats; character/setting cards; patterning; two count to 10 booklet; and fine motor practice.

3 Little Pigs Activities is a collection of themed math and language activities. Just print out the pages on cardstock and laminate to make enjoyable educational game boards to play with your little ones. I am a firm believer that young learners need interactive play materials, not "worksheets" in order to develop their readiness skills. The best interaction they can have is with a caring adult who will extend their play and expand their communication skills.

Included in this grouping of 3 Little Pigs Activities are 25 pages of fun interactive activities:

Play Mats: 2 different set of houses for use with play dough, retelling the story, or 3D play houses

Character/Setting cards: great for memory, matching, vocabulary, as well as play figures for the 3D houses.

My Count to Ten Booklet: add to each page with cut and glue numerals

Patterning : ABAB patterns to extend with cut and glue pictures

Trace the Line: fine motor practice

Counting to 10 Flip Book: numerals, dice faces, number words

About the Seller

(22 Reviews)

An experienced teacher of 30+ years, I'm pleased to be here among so many talented teacherpreneurs.
For the past 12 years I have taught 3 to 5 year-olds in a Developmental Preschool classroom in an IL public school. Previously I taught general education students in grades 2, 4, 6, and 8. I've also taught students in special education classrooms (self-contained and resource) in grades K-3; 6-8; and high school.

For me, learning is all about making connections to our everyday lives. For the little ones, everything we do has a connection because the world of reading, writing, counting, computing is unfolding each and every day. For the older kids, my favorite question to answer was, "What's this got to do with my life?"

I'm a big picture sort of person by nature, but being a special education teacher has allowed me to hone my skills of task analysis. Enticing kids into stories and activities is my goal - make it fun and include movement! My job as a teacher of little ones with developmental delays permits me to be creative every day.
