Our 100th day of school and Valentine’s Day fall on the same day most year. I created 5 math activities with hearts to celebrate both special days. They can be used for Valentine’s Day or 100’s day or separately as well.
Who is it for?
- 1st Graders (6 to 7-year-olds)
- Kindergarteners (5 to 6-year-olds)
- Math learners
- 1.Heart Numbers: The numbers 1 to 100 on hearts. Use to order the numbers by ones, twos, fives or tens. Make two copies and play concentration.
2.Fill in the missing numbers: Choose a card and figure out which numbers are missing. Laminate and use wipe-off markers right on the cards. Use the recording sheet to keep track of your answers.
3.Count the hearts: Pick a number and count the correct number of hearts.
4.Number words: Pick a number word card and count the correct number of hearts.
5.Race to 100: Roll a dice and colour in that number of squares. The first person to fill their sheet wins.
Easy to print, laminate and put together to add to your math work stations.
