Students will love writing a list for each of the letters of the alphabet. List pages are half pages each making it easier for copying and cutting in half. Each list page provides 6 spaces for students to add words that begin with each letter. At the beginning of the year, students could draw a picture for each letter provided or write words beginning or ending with each letter as the school year progresses. The letter of the alphabet is at the top of each list making page. There is one list making page for each letter of the alphabet.
This List Making will encourage students to sounds out words when writing.
I hope your students enjoy making lists for each letter of the alphabet!

I am a kindergarten teacher with 22 years of teaching experience! I received my Doctor of Education degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University in June 2010. The title of my doctoral study is "Writing Conferences in Kindergarten: Using Feedback to Enhance Student Writing." My passion is teaching writing to my students and providing feedback for their writing experiences. I love teaching kindergarten. It is amazing to see students enter the classroom not even knowing how to hold a pencil and watching them become readers and writers by the end of the year. I love teaching in small groups and rotating student groups with literacy centers and math centers.
