Product Description

With just a wee bit o’ luck and a little prep, your students will have a golden opportunity to learn some sight words. For added fun, put the words in a plastic black pot used for St. Patrick’s Day decorations. Add some pretend gold coins or themed confetti. During a small group time, invite each child to pull out a word, read it, and then return it to the pot. If he reads the word correctly, give him a piece of gold. Continue play as interest dictates.

Interactive high-frequency words books are student-made books that are easy to read and fun to make. They have simple text that is repetitive, predictable or rhyming. Look for more seasonal and holiday-themed books in my Smart Kids store.
