Times Tales can be used at any age and is a great companion or introduction to teaching multiplication to your students. Teachers can incorporate the video into their lessons, and parents can use Times Tales to complement their children's math education.
Times Tales makes learning the upper times tables easy and fun for kids. The videos use cute, simple stories that provide students with a "memory peg," allowing them to quickly recall otherwise abstract multiplication facts. As they progress through the video, they'll learn multiplication without even knowing it! It's that easy!
I cant print either pintables it says "flattening" and then stops I should of looked at the review from 12/1 I wouldn't of purchased from you then!

what happens if my computer dies, and I have to get another computer? How do I load it on a new computer?

Thank you for your question. The purchase is for the five files to be downloaded on one device. I would suggest making sure you save your order information so that if something does happen to your computer you can put in a request for another download.
We purchased the downloadable version. The video plays fine and seemed to help my son. We are supposed to practice part 1 using printable PDFs included with the program. I have tried 3 computers and 3 printers and cannot print the PDFs, it says it is "flattening" the file and then says "cannot print". I have contacted Eduscents by email 2 times (and received "ticket" numbers) and assured a response within 48 hours...and no response either time. I have tried calling via phone and there is never any answer. Unfortunately, this program seems like it maybe valuable, but I would recommend purchasing from a company that is more reputable and replies to technical concerns...you can buy it on Amazon as well as other online stores.

My 9 year old struggled with his times tables. He wasn't too excited about this program in the beginning. He thought it was too young for him, but I urged him to stick with it for a while. It took me two times of bribing him to get through the first section, but once he realized how helpful it was he was hooked! He was so proud of himself when he was answering the multiplication problems with no help. I think he has a newfound love of multiplication all due to these little stories that help him remember. This is the only thing that has actually "clicked" with him, and we're both really excited!

My 10 year old struggled with memorizing the multiplication facts. In a day of watching the tales he had them down. I was SO happy and he was too!

I've read a couple of reviews commenting that this product is for younger children, so I wanted to say that it was very effective for my 10-yr-old son. He does not learn well just by repetition; if he can make it fun, then it sticks. We enjoyed the stories, and some of them are so ridiculous that we laughed about them, which made them more memorable. This product was perfect for him, a kid who likes making monsters out of his less than/greater than signs more than solving the problem, doesn't care how long something takes if it's entertaining, and adores Life of Fred. It would not have been useful for my daughter, who likes to complete things ASAP and cross it off the list. I am grateful for times tales bc it helped my son learn in a fun way what he thought was drudgery before.

The reviews said it would help students memorize their times tables. My 10 year old son who already knows most of them, just needed to refine those upper times tables, was more confused than anything and it didn't help him memorize at all. It's really for younger students.
Trigger Memory Co. is owned and operated by Jennie von Eggers & Marillee Flanagan, sisters. They have been in business since 2003. They are two homeschool moms that were looking for an opportunity to help kids and have a small business. Jennie von Eggers created the stories for Times Tales in 2003 as a quick way for her two grade school boys to learn their upper times tables. She got tired of the same old boring flashcards. Jennie is always looking for unconventional ways to teach her kids. They have since published Zone Clean 'n' Flip products as well at the Memory Trigger. Most of their children are now in college but both the homeschooling adventure as well as their small business has been a blessing to both owners.
