This syllable activity pack will have students asking for more. The ninja theme makes it more fun and engaging for students of all ages. This pack includes puzzles that break up the words into smaller parts for students to read and put together. Once they put them together, they write them on the recording sheet. There are two different types of puzzles that include words with 1-4 syllables.
There are also sorting sheets for students to complete. The best part is the game that students can play to practice reading words with syllables.
The puzzles and game are all in color and black and white to help you save ink or make it bright and colorful.

I graduated from Longwood College in 1997 and spent the first 14 years of my career as an educator in third and fourth grade classrooms. I loved teaching children, but my passion has always been with teaching reading.
I graduated from the University of Virginia with my Masters in Reading in May 2010 and waited patiently for the moment when I could do what I do most and help struggling readers learn to read! In 2011, that dream came true! Now I spend my days as a reading specialist working with students in Kindergarten through fifth grade as they learn to overcome reading difficulties and work to become stronger readers.
In 2012, I began my blogging journey where I highlight books, ideas, and my days in the classroom. You can visit my blog Reading Toward the Stars to learn more about my life as a reading specialist.
