In this Shopping Cart Game, students will practice making change and recording their transactions.
Recommendations for play: Spin the spinner and move ahead that many spaces. If you land on a food item, you must purchase it for the amount listed. The game ends when one player reaches the finish line. The game can end sooner if one player runs out of money. The winner is the player who finishes with the most amount of money. There are additional rules of play for a second version of the game, where students practice identifying the food group for the items they purchase.
