This Subject-Verb Agreement Board Game offers a fun, interactive method to practise the tricky rules of Concord (subject-verb agreement). It includes a fun, colorful board game, questio cards and corresponding posters to make displaying rules on your walls easy.
Product Description

This set consists of two components; posters and a board game.

The posters:

There are 7 posters explaining 7 rules of concord.  There is a set of colorful, eye-catching posters as well as a set in black and white.  An additional page has also been included which contains all seven of the posters on one page.  This could act as a one-page poster or a reference sheet for children to paste in their books.  This is also in color and black and white.

Content covered includes the following information about subject-verb agreement:

•Either...or / neither...nor
•Each, every, someone, either, neither
• well as...
•Amounts of money/units of measurement
•Collective nouns
•Nouns which appear to be plural but are actually singular e.g.  Measels, mathematics’
•Singular subjects joined by ‘and.’.

The board game:

This is made up of 24 question cards where children need to choose the correct verb.  The answers are not on the cards as children can use their reference page (from the poster section) to check each other’s answers.

I have included three different colored sets (with matching backing which can be photostatted at the back of the cards) and a colored game board.  All of which is in black and white as well.

I trust your children will benefit from this activity.
