This set includes 24 word cards that when combined in pairs will make 12 different compound words using the word “snow”. There is also a recording sheet for the compound words that are made.
There are many ways to use these cards. Here are a couple of ideas.
Memory Match Up Mix up the cards and place them face down on the table. Taking turns, try to make compound words by turning over 2 cards. If they make a compound word, the player gets to keep the cards. If not, the cards are turned over and it is the next person’s turn. The person with the most compound words wins.
Spread out the cards and try to make the 12 compound words. Record them on the recording sheet. Write the word in the box and draw a picture of the word. Choose at least 4 of the words and create a story using the words.
