This menu project is geared toward students in grades 1-4. Students will demonstrate their knowledge of nutrition by creating a foldable restaurant menu on a 12 x 18 sheet of construction paper. Students will name their restaurant and design a menu cover. They will select two healthy menu items for breakfast, three for lunch, and three for dinner. There is also room for appetizers, salads, and drinks.
I'm a fifth grade teacher from Vancouver, Canada. For the past 12 years, I've taught Preschool to Grade 5. I've also mentored in-service teachers in the Learning & Teaching with Technology graduate diploma program at Simon Fraser University.
